Det triste ved det her var at folk syntes det var en god sang da den havde vundet Melodi Gran Prix, men det var da den fik den dårlige placering folk syntes den var dårlig. Problemet var at folk ikke forstod det danske sprog så de ikke forstod hvilken smuk og genial sang det i virkeligheden var. R.I.P Tommy :(

This is one of the best Eurovision Songs ever, and it is horible it didn't get the prize that year. Tommy Seebach was one of the absolute best song writers ever in Danish music industry. Unfortunately he passed away far too early.

Tommy experienced what many others did ... returning to Eurovision after many years ... hardly helped them to gain success. Carola is the only example I know of someone who seemed to be there on top 5 ... Not a bad song for Tommy but nothing special either. The way the band was on stage is confusing to me. The public could hardly see them straight.

A long time ago but i still remember that song. I really liked it and pretty for not televoting that period to vote for it. Unfair for Tommy's 'departure' so soon.

Yeah that was unfair. Actually in the seventies he made just as good disco songs as ABBA.

But he had had som ewarnings before his early death. Once he had a heart attack at a pub. A man in a wheelchair gave him CPO and that saved Tommys life for a while. But som emonths later on he had a strik again on his way to work at Bakkens Hvile, where he played for some years. Rest In Peace

Abba was not a disco group ... songs like Dancing Queen or Gimme Gimme Gimme were not the whole musical package they had offered in their careear. Be careful with that. Tommy's songs went towards to the general disco songs done by many american and european acts of that time.
