  • wow that sounds NICE man. so what did that system end up costing you after all's said and done?

  • sounds kinda like a v8!

  • @zachshallperish Amazing car my friend, i'm getting a mustang soon and want mine to sound like yours if not louder, what do you have on it?

  • Hey nice video i just bought a 2002 v6 mustang on wednesday and i want to make it sound just like yours. I already have the True Duel Exhaust on mine but im set up with Magnaflow and they suck.... So do i just need the flowmaster 44 series mufflers or is there more?

  • is this a catted x pipe or off road x pipe it sounds really good man

  • Where did u buy the headers n how much do they cost

  • Hey man sounds great. I am planning on doing the same set-up on my 2001 v6 pretty soon here. Did you have any problems getting the Pypes xpipe to fit? I have heard there can be problems getting it to fit the stock manifolds.

  • Very Nice!

  • Which X-pipe did you get from pypes, i was planning on doing the same actually. I notice that there are off-road, universal and such.

  • hey man i really like your sond!, i also have flowmaster supper 44 duals on my v6 and it sounds nice but i would really would like an x pipe, so how did you do it? wield it on? do i need anything else? please let me know!

  • Hey man nice Mustang my bro had one and it souneds the same eney how can you send me a link or something to the place were i can find this i wanna put it on my mustang

    thanks .

  • first off, i love it! i am actually getting a 2001 mustang v6 and im looking to do some mods. i am getting the super 44's and headers but to be honest im kinda confused on the true dual exhaust thing. would you maybe be able to send the link to the dual exhaust you have? im trying to make my car sound like yours. it sounds amazing

  • bro, major props !! best i have seen for a V6 by far

  • @dshafe9791 thanks man, yeah the 44's are good mufflers. it really helps having true duals as well. enjoy your v6 man. dont listen to what anyone says or let anyone try to tell you v8s are the only way to go. i mean ive obviously proved that you can make a v6 sound badass if you just work on it right. the v6s are great cars, i know i love mine haha.

  • @zachshallperish dude i have a v6 with l/t headers an stock mach 1 exhaust, but its to loud haha i want 44's. yea i like v8's but me n my dad always have little races here an there cause he has a worked up 03 mach 1 an i have a worked up sixxer. its soo fun haha people under estimate what power they have lol.......

  • @dshafe9791 haha glad you like man. and htis exhaust setup is completely custom. its the product of me experimenting and trying out different things to try and find what i like the best, and so far, this is the best one ive gotten. i have the x pipe, no cats, flowmaster 44's, shorty headers, and a cold air intake.

  • do you have catalyc's on?

  • @lote1234567891011 nah, they were deleted when i got the x pipe on.

  • i have almost the exact same set up, but i was wonderin if you had any trouble with the O2 sensors? sounds great by the way man, real deep rumble

  • @MrJoshuawilliamsjosh hah thanks man, really appreciate it. but yeah, actually my O2 sensors are gone. they were deleted when my X pipe was put on.

  • Were the bullets louder or the flows??

  • dude you should do drive by clips too!!

  • @TheMustang2k hah i actually have one drive by video up. ima do another one soon though. im actually also about to experiment a little and try another new setup.

  • dude you should do drive by clips too :)

  • thats pretty damn deep for an x-pipe. nice sound!

  • @redphoenix0 thanks dude, it sounds intense in person.

  • Without the cat converter, doesnt it make your car handle differently?... (in a negative way)

  • @XStr3am1 its kinda hard to say. i mean i wanna say its different, cause it definitely is, but i mean itll still get up and go when i lay into it. im completely satisfied with how it runs. im thinkin about investing in some high flow cats though.

  • You've achieved what was once thought impossible. Your V6 sounds really nice. Kudos, man. Great job.

  • @Ghostwolf12 hah thanks so much man, means alot. i put alot of work into this car when i got it. it was all stock, and now its far from it hah.

  • what kind of x pipe did u put on it>>>>>>>>>>>sounds really good

  • @THEBESTUSMC thanks man, its a pypes x-pipe.

  • definately best sounding v6!!!!!!!

  • @ozzy30126 hah thanks a ton bro, i appreciate it.

  • got mine done today. h pipe, catbacks, flowmaster super 44s , 2.5 inch pipe.mine sounds good but urs sounds better for some reason.

  • ive got a bbk cold air intake, x pipe catted with regular mufflers and shorty headers, im looking into keeping everything the same but putting super 44s on mine, i hope it sounds similar to this one. what all do you have done to this one? just the exhaust???

  • @branman2012 heres what all i have: BBK chrome shorty headers, BBK cold air intake, Flowmaster super 44 muffers, Pypes X-pipe, and no cats. its a great sound in person. it really sounds like theres a V8 under the hood and its got that screaming, crunchy sound in low rpm, sounds good and hollow at idle, and high rpm sounds great too.

  • i wanna run this set up but with long tubes but i heard bout divorced duals with flow orginal 40s w/ long tubes.....i run wanna tht in the srping but witha cam too but idk still debating

  • @minicobra01 hah sounds like a sweet idea. i was gonna get longtubes on but i ended up keeping the shortys cause the guy that worked on my car said that putting longtubes on a v6 wont do as much as you think it will, and that i was better off keeping the shortys, so i did. but you could always still try it and see whats up cause it sounds like a sweet idea. cams are definitely something else i wanna get.

  • @zachshallperish im gonna do it theres just one problem i have a single port 97 v6 and i want a 99-04 v6 for two reasons 1. to get a 5spd instead of my auto and i want the split port engine......hey thts 40 hp at the crank diff

single port 145HPvs multi/split port 190HP you be the judge lol

tht being said the only challenge round here for me is a 79 stingray and about 12 mustang gts LOL! so a cam gears and tune should put me way over the imports tht all they do is ride round w/ a fart can

  • how was it when it came to bolting up the car back and mid pipe together assuming u bought kits or did a shop custom fab tghe hole thing

  • @minicobra01 hah yeah i had it done custom in a shop so im not 100% sure how he did it but however he did it its been holding up really well. and i actually wont be getting the longtubes on cause i got some advice from the same guy and he said that it wouldnt be worth it to, and that the headers i have on now are really nice and i should keep them, so i am. and its fine with me cause i love this set up! i wish you could hear it in person cause its crazy!

  • @minicobra01 hey bro thanks i jst put the H pipe thanks for ur help man

  • @imaolol6996 no problem ! what else are your running with the h pipe flows SLP?

btw zach if you could do some shots of drivin inside the car tht would be epic i wanna know what its like from inside and an update on those long tubes?

  • this is the best sounding v6 ive seen on youtube with a few others.....

cant wait to get my 01 v6 (upgrading from a single port v6) and runing this exact set up but with o/r x pipe but still 2 thumbs way!!! up!!! nice job..personly for being how legal it is its osunds better than 70% of the v8 mustangs in my area..

  • Hey bro nice setupp shitt slapps man.... i have pacesetter shorty headers...what do you think if I add an x pipe keeping my cats in place and dumping 2 super 44s before the axle? Any ideas...

  • @HEKDIZZLE7 hah id say thats a pretty sick idea man. with the cats still on it wont be as loud as it could be but itll definitely still make a noticeable difference. itll put some beef in your stang's taco haha.

  • what if i want to put the 44s but with straight pipes u kno wat i mean cut the h pipe that i have and put a straight pipe and the 44s i hope u can help me out man..

  • @imaolol6996 if you cut the h pipe apart were the pipe crosses over from one side of the exhaust to the othere....hence the "H" you are pretty much making it out of tech a trual dual exhuast or divorced duals....it would in turn be as loud if not a little more BUT your would lose some ow end tourqe but you will gain it back in the top end as were the x pipe you keep it and then some at low end and all the way threw

  • @imaolol6996 yeah id say that would be a sweet idea. give it a shot and see what you think, and lemme know how it is when you get it done.

  • Sounds amazing for a V6. You should post a new video of the exhaust.

  • @Mr2002MustangGT hah i will, ill try to get one up pretty soon.

  • Wow this sounds like a gt!! I want my v6 to sound more lower pitch like this!! Is it cuz the xpipe thing? I don't rlly understand what that is exactly.. How much is it?? All I know is I have true duals flowmasters and it sounds nothin like this!!

  • @Bartelliballz hah heres what i have. im running true duals with a pypes x pype, BBK chrome shorty headers, flowmaster 44 mufflers and no cats. thats how i got that result haha.

  • what tips to you have, im getting the o/r x pipe, and the flowmaster 44s, so whats left to get?

  • Is this xpipe catted? sounds amazing man

  • @02Blu3GT nah, its just the x pipe. theres no O2 sensors now cause of it, but its all good cause they dont check emissions much around here.

  • What are you using for your exhaust tips? I have all of what I need except for from the mufflers to the exhaust tips. What would I buy?

  • @trevordispencer i have the flowmaster super 44 mufflers with 2.5 inch piping and 3 inch tips. it seems to work well hah.

  • beast license plate.

  • @corvettels9 haha thanks dude

  • @zachshallperish haha, I had to look through the comments to see if it was a 6 or an 8. when it started it sounded so similar to the GT I was like, wtf?

  • @corvettels9 hah yeah! ive gotten a great result with what ive done to it. i never thought it woulda turned out that beefy though hah.

  • @zachshallperish yeah....does it perform like the 8, too?

  • @corvettels9 im sure a V8 could take me but i do get some good performance out of it. i have a blast driving it haha.

  • @zachshallperish haha, hey, that's what counts!

  • WOW!!!!!! Dude, I'm blown away. This exhaust setup is badass. Your Mustang is by far the closest I've heard to sounding like a V8.

So you have BBK CAI, BBK shorty headers, pypes x pipe. What size piping do you have? What tips do you have? I want this exhaust setup.

  • @The01MustangV6 hah thanks man, thats great to hear. and yeah, what i have is the BBL shorty headers and CAI, pypes x-pipe, and flowmaster super 44's basically what i did is i originally had a dynomax catback, and me and a buddy went in and swapped out the dynomax with the super 44's. the piping is 2.5" all the way, and the tips are 3".

  • Awesome! Thanks for the info!

  • hey man that is one nice sounding mustang. So is your setup... All four stock cats, pypes x pipe, and flowmasters super44. Alsobif you do have all four cat does the x pipe give to much back pressure.

  • @TheMustangv6 Hey man I like your username.

  • @The01MustangV6 baha thanks man

  • @TheMustangv6 hah thanks dude. the x-pipe is offroad and it eliminated the cats so theres definitely not too much back pressure. acceleration feels amazing and with the x-pipe it feels like it picks up alot more when i put it to the floor.

  • @TheMustangv6 hah sure thing man.

  • hey man i like it alot. are the PYPES the catted, or off road? and where did you find the supper 44 cat back? or did you just have a muffler shop put them in in place of GT take offs or something! details would be great!! thanks sounds amazing!

  • @mcjato94 hah thanks alot man. nah, the pypes are not catted. and me and a friend put the super 44's in. ive also of course got the BBK shorty headers, and a BBK cold-air intake. the sound ive been able to get out of this car is extremely satisfying. ive never found another v6 thats sounds like it. honestly, youd think it was a GT unless i told you it wasnt haha. no lie, its loud as shit in person.

  • hey man so besically ur setup is longtube headers, xpipe with cats, and super 44's

  • hah almost. i dont have the longtubes on yet, i still have BBK shorty's on in this video. but yeah i do have the x pipe, cats, and super 44's. the longube headers i have are also gonna eliminate the cats, so when i get them on itll be longtube headers, no cats, the x pipe, and flowmaster 44's.

  • sounds good

  • thanks man.
