A very nice horse. The man needs to shorten his stirrups, shorten his reins, tuck in his elbows put his lower leg back and straighten his wrists. i dont understand why he's doing the whole chicken arm flapping before the jump, and i also dont understand why he's sticking his elbows out, but its not going to help anything. He really needs to get his hands infont of him and stop see-sawing the reins, that is not a true frame. Congrats on the horse btw. a beautiful horse that will take you far :)
@shelbydrn bahahaha alot of the german professionals there are like that, escecially this one that is very interesting :P bhahaha, but yes he has taken me VERY far, from 3'3 jumpers to 4'3 and I am hoping to move up to 4'6 this year! :D
he isn't chicken arming.. he is see-sawing the reins!! That poor horse is gonna get nerve damage if he is continued to be ridden that way!! Such a magnificent & powerful horse, this guy needs to release better, keep his legs beneath him, and stop tugging on the poor horse.. hope Tina has a better instructor who can help her & this horse jump this height & more- properly! Some foreign riders styles drive me nuts! Equitation out the door. LOL.. good luck w/him!
@Evalani22 hahaha ya! He is VERY powerful and hard to stay with, I have had him for two and a half years now and hes still hard :P Love him though! So honest!
This horse is really pretty (: but jesus that man needs to sit up hes going to knock his front teeth out! He needs to work on his crest release! And this must be a pretty giving horse because any other horse that has a rider that approaches jumps like a hunchback is gonna buck his rider off (: But you know those german men always riding with their hands in their lap thinking the horse will jump better if its chin is against its own chest
@Equinsane hahah I know eh! He is VERY forgiving! he is an amazing horse, If you watch my other vids of him and I, he just goes around like a school pony at four foot with me, and I has quite the heart. But yes, the Germans ride a little backwards :P I would know cause my father is pure German, but he rides pretty North American now, but its fun to go to Germany a few times a year to see how they ride :)
lol! he was Edward's old rider in Germany, hahaha yes those German men...they ride like that, my dad was born in Germany and rode there, hes better now...but he used to look exactly like that :P
I agree with the last person! What is that German man doing with his arms? That is one of the weirdest releases I have ever seen. I think he's trying to pick the horse up, but Ed jumps well enough on his own. You ride the horse much better! :D
thanks! well i have had him in two shows already, and currently we are doing 3'9, i only had shown up to 3'6 with my old horse, so hes here to teach me and bring me up the levels. hes a great horse, i love him to death!
lol i totally know what you mean...its liek asking youre income or something of the sort. i hate when people ask me how much my horse was, soo frustrating! hes verrryyy cute by the way ! what are you going to show with him?
lol, yes, it is a tad rude to ask someone how much their horse costed...i mean it says that he was showing 4'6...so think of how much a 4'6 is worth and thats what he will be, I am not giving out the exact price.
mannnnn ,she obviously doesnt want to tell you guys how much she paid for him like thats personal information. shut upppp! she paid a shitload of money for him okay?
that is so funny that you ask me that! he just came today! hes so tired from the long trip! ya im hoping one day to make it there, my dad is crazy and buying me this amazing horse and i onloy do 3'6! but i am planning to do 3'9 next year, maybe, so i have to have something that will jump it...even though he can jump alot more lol
