  • @Kiter02 Welsh.

  • what kind of accent is that I hear you speaking in?!

  • You look like a young Elton John.

  • I'm interested to that keyboard. I was interested in lead solo. Is it possible save a lead sound from downloaded from the internet, save it on a USB pendrive and save the sound on that keyboard via USB? Or the USB pen is used only to save backups?

And the PC connection can be used as a midi interface to use with third party softwares (like Garageband, Ableton etc) and play their sound libraries or I am supposed to buy a MIDI-USB interface (or using the Roland software)?

    Thanks for the infos :)

  • @AdiMercury

You can use the Roland software :) and I'm sure I've seen patches on the net you can download via USB :)

  • You shouldn't be pitch-bending the organ sound :)

  • @WinterWineStudio

Ah, it's just for fun! :D

  • Would anybody recommend this, I play synths in a POP punk band, at the minute I use a Korg x50 and a Korg kaossilator pro, would this be a good addition ?? If not then what should I get next??

  • @twoodyatwood

I recommend testing it at maybe your local music shop first, to get a feel for it :)

  • i had the korg x5 which is similar to the 50. i also have this roland. i ultimately believe that the roland is a great keyboard for playing out. especially if your a solo musician because it plays mp3s and it is simple to use. the sound engine has all the classic roland tones plus realtime effects. as someone who has both and has played out with both, i say the roland is just a bit better than the korg,

  • Great review man, shit who disliked your video, and u also play very well,I also has the same synth.

  • Does the Juno-Di come with any editing software?

    I know the Juno-D does.

  • It does come with a CD yes, but its a little clunky to use but with a bit of time, you can edit to your hearts content :)

  • Does it have a record button so that you can loop like say a drum beat you hit for like 10 seconds?

and then then your drum beat will go in a loop while you can play piano over it?

Would really appreciate an answer, thanks.

Right now i'm gonna buy this or a used Korg PA60 from year 2002.

Really hard for me to decide since i can't try any of them for myself and i'm new to synths. Any advice here would also be appreciated :p

  • @gastank43

I don't think it has anything like that. but you can check on their website for any PDF manuals. They have everything and its a massive read. I'm still not sure of all the functions of it myself, lol =)

  • Sorry yeah, you did the guitar solo, my band did an acoustic cover and I was the keyboard player, remember ???

  • @twoodyatwood

Ah yeh, you guys were great! :D

  • @AstraVex You doing it again this year ?? And check us otu on Facebook btw we've got our songs up now :D

  • Just search AMONG OTHERS :)

  • Hey man were you in caerphilly got talent because my band player there :)

  • hello.. could you please tell some about the effects feature of the juno di? what effects are in this machine? :) is there phaser? overdrive or distortion? delay? etc. thanks! :) responses are highly appreciated :)

  • @vonne25000

I'll be going into all that in a future video :)

  • How do you get the midi to work to Ableton Live on a mac?

    - Antonio S.

  • @secca187

    I don't have a mac.

  • @AstraVex Well how about on a pc

  • @secca187

Well, I run the synth through my USB zoom pedal and record the sound in Audacity, since my laptop doesn't support the cd used to make the MIDI work. So sorry, I'm not much help :(

  • does it have built in speakers?

  • @heyybrowussup

Sadly no. But you can plug in pretty much any amp/speaker in mono and stereo, and headphones into it. Personally I use a marshall guitar amp.

  • Whats the name of that patch @ 8:30?

  • @niftman

Sync Ld Mono, Under the Synth Button, No.50

  • @AstraVex Thx,young man! :)

  • hi! is your juno Di doing good?! I think there's something wrong with mine. It just transposes automaticall without me manipulating it. ;(

  • @MsHundredacrewood

Well, thats odd. I recommend, taking it to a music shop to have it looked at :)

  • @AstraVex i know, right. I already did. But the technicians just laughed at me 'coz they think it's impossible. it's really weird..

  • cara de pau

  • I think I fell in love with that keyboard. :O

    I need to learn keyboard xD;

  • @SeductiveToast

    ooooohkaaaaaaaAAAAy :D...cool ^_^

  • @AstraVex Bascially your video did good. I was sold when I heard the guitar sounds xD

  • @SeductiveToast

    Hooray, I did something right :D x

  • Thanks for your review I'm trying to decide between a Juno Di and Gi, but I like the idea of playing with the vocoder were as the Di doesn't seem to have a vocoder. Have you used the vocoder on your Di ? Is it any good?

  • @williada

Yeh, its pretty good, it all depends on the quality of the microphone. The better the mic, the better the vocoding.

Sorry i didnt put it in the review, i didnt have a mic at the time

  • cool

  • You should do a song using just the sounds on that keyboard, playing all the instruments.

  • Have you used the Korg X-50? If so, how do you think they match up? I'm a keyboardist myself, right now I've only got a Yamaha PSRE413, so I'm looking to get a better synth.

  • @theberzerker0

I tried the Korg X-50 in a music shop once. I liked it but I like the Juno Di interface a liiittle bit more =)

  • oo i love vibrato :P
