  • @LordGeorgeRodney lmao that explains alot :) btw your vids are awesome :) i love all the hate you get from french and spanish patriots who dont know their own history as well as you do :P

  • Have you not seen the coins King George made before the attack was over and how he tried to cover it up?Why would he do that?If he tried to cover that up my only guess would be it was not the first or last time.In fact most of British History is being questioned by many scholars from battles to massacres that the British Empire claimed never happened yet the Indian populations do not lie in North America,Africa and Australia.

  • @OurOxygen

LOL!! I like the coins of Gibraltar & Trafalgar...

British got revenge at Havana 1762 5,000 Spanish surrendered with another 6,000 dead or wounded..

Spain's worst defeat in history for navy & army..

    : )

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Funny how Cuba stayed Spanish. Also do you have some Cartegena coins?LOL.I mean wow, your king was so ashamed he tried to hide the fact. That says a lot about a nation. Why would he hide it?LOL.Funny how my two lineages have hade glorious victories over you British cunts, one terrified you and the other dropped you to a 3rd rate nation.

  • What happened to 1741?Hello,the largest fleet ever to sail until the Normandy invasion?Still don't remember?Admiral Vernon headed to Cartagena "Colombia" with the largest fleet ever sailed at the time and was defeated by an inferior force by Blas de Lezo.In fact it was so humiliating that King George II tried to hide the defeat.Stupid Brit.

  • @OurOxygen Actually the Siege of Gibraltar 1779-83 was even bigger 60,000 Spanish with 50 ships of the line vs 5,000 Brits.

Without disease playing a part this was a proper fight.

    George Augustus Elliot a hero!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Funny how it is not recorded that way.

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Spain has suffered defeats as many nations have but none have ever gone to great lengths as to cover it up as the British have.I mean you have tried to cover up not only battles but massacres too. What a filthy class of people you British truly are.Like I said Indian population numbers do no lie.

  • @OurOxygen LOL!

Indian? How about the native Incas, Aztecs?

Spanish genocide from disease.. yes I'll say no more...

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Dumb ass Brit,if you look at Indian populations alone it is evident who committed true genocide,North America 6 million, South America over 60 million.Shall I bring up Australia and Africa?Yes I'll say no more...

  • @OurOxygen all nations cover up some form or another

The Spanish & French tried to cover up Trafalgar..

In fact they even said it was a spectacular victory!

''Our victory was now complete, and we prepared to take possession of our prizes; but the elements were this time unfavourable to us; a dreadful storm came on — Gravina made his escape to his own Ship at the beginning of it — the Commander in Chief, Villeneuve, and a Spanish Admiral, were unable, and remained on board the Victory''

    : D

  • @LordGeorgeRodney So Spain and France tried to cover up their defeat by royal decree? And made coins before the battle was over? And even buried the commander with the lie?LOL.I know it hurts but damn.Royal decree? That is like a kid who peed on the bed and is trying to hide it.LOL.

  • @OurOxygen ROFLL!!

where was the source from? Not England ...

That was from Cadiz!! ha ha!!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney I am sorry but your word means shit.Being a Brit is a defect in today's world, hence 3rd rate nation.Nothing you say can be trusted,I mean you guys still say "God save the queen" which is said to be the most oxymoron comment of the 21st century and yet you do it.

  • @OurOxygen

LOL! Not as funny as the Americans begging for money from China.

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Please they hold 1 trillion of our 15 trillion debt, the other 14 is held privately in the United States. Our economy is worth over 500 trillion, and beside we have not had any debt purchased from China since 2010.But that is all fiat,it matters not.My government is a cancer and are running our debt on purpose, why else buy weapons we do not need and prop nations up when we cannot afford it?Corporate America and the Military Industrial complex are killing my nation cont.

  • by keeping us in perpetual warfare with no end in sight.Pakistan is probably my cancerous governments next target, and here we go again with another Iraq.

  • @OurOxygen that is true

they are useless militarized and suffered one of the worst acts of surrender in history when Amir Niazi surrendered 93,000 men in 1971..

  • @LordGeorgeRodney With the recent "so called "attempt on a Saudi diplomat in a American embassy, which I believe was done by my government. My government is laying blame on Pakistan and a new terror group that is "supposed" to be more organized than Alciada. It is all propaganda.

  • @OurOxygen and on american dollars it says in god we trust whats your point?

  • @OW41N There is a difference,no one states that phrase as a patriotic blinder .The "in God We Trust" was implemented by religious nuts in my government not by the people. In fact many citizens want it stricken from our money supply as well as the all seeing eye and the star of David, which none have anything to do with "we the people" or our nation.

  • @OurOxygen and we the people have decided to keep the queen, why should us brits listen to what you yanks say? if we want to have a royal family, then we will have one, if you dont like it, then you can shove it up your arse, im afraid we have no intention on paying a blind bit of notice as to what you say :)

  • @OW41N Decided to keep her? That was funny.

  • @OurOxygen oh right you guys seem to think that you were the only country to have a civil war, sorry i forgot about your pig headedness, we had three civil wars, on one side the royalists and on the other was parliament, real nasty time in our history, but we had the restoration, which meant the monarchy would stay, put that in your pipe and smoke it matey

  • @OW41N I know about your civil wars that amounted to shit, why fight the crown 3 times to have it restored?A bit backwards.Your queen still holds power over crown colonies, she does choose their governor generals. Not bad for a so called national icon.

  • @OurOxygen then you have not done your research, it all comes down to the fact that the people did not want the king killed, but parliament did it anyway and then o.c took charge in a dictatorship that was basically being a king in all but name, however not alot of people liked the puritan way of life, infact most people hated it and welcomed king charles II back with open arms, try reading some books mate, like the brigadier peter young's the english civil wars just a suggestion

  • @OW41N You Brits should of killed the royal family and became a republic. Not wanting the king dead?Wow.Just how mindless and brainwashed could of your countrymen truly of been?Yea ok maybe no one liked the puritan way of life but why not just do away with it instead of bringing the crown back?I just do not get that logic of having a royal family over you,as if they were truly better than any other Brit walking around.

  • @OurOxygen we didnt want to simple as, our monarchy has never done anything stupid to be honest, and we are happy with it, why should we change because a texan tells us to? and ofcourse you cant contemplate it, its because you are a republican at heart, thats why your family fucked off to the states from wherever they came :P couldnt make it over here in europe, but you dont hear me telling you what you should do with your country do you? because its none of my business and it works both ways

  • @OW41N Nothing stupid?LOL.My family left the cesspit that was Europe in the late 1600's,as well as many Brits too.Cannot blame people for wanting a better life. Also I am not telling you to do shit,in fact my comment was not even to you.My comment was over the "God save the Queen" propaganda you Brits have and how it is the 21st century's most Oxymoron statement.I never told you to do shit. Now if my words hurt your feelings than I am sorry but I can say what the fuck I want.

  • @OurOxygen read your comments matey you just lied :P your not offending me im just telling you to mind your own business, and europe isnt a cesspit, wel maybe france is :P america was not a better life, you had slavery something the british empire abolished way before you did, it was full of fanatic christians, puritans mainly, now i still wouldnt move there, i would like to live in canada though, that is a very pretty country,

  • @OW41N I said "should of"as in past tense. You guys abolished slavery in 1834 officially throughout the empire we did in 1865,not much longer. And yes Canada is very Beautiful.

  • @OurOxygen you think you can say what you want but you actually cant, freedom of speech isnt actually all its cracked up to be, especially with the sue everything nature of your country, its quite pathetic, your quite lucky i gave you the time of day :)

  • @OW41N That does not apply to speech.I can say what I want as long as I do not threaten you.

  • @OurOxygen so you cant then :P

  • @OW41N When you threaten someone with bodily injury it is no longer defined as free speech but as a crime.

  • @belac0r92

lol! France surrendered all its gains in Netherlands and we won the last victories of the war..

  • rule Hispania, Hispania rule the waves... xd

Santiago de Cuba 1741 Vernon loser again xdxd.

  • @belac0r92 Havana 1748

    Spanish rules the waves?!

Beaten off their own coast! ha ha!!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

1595 All cronwall looted. Defeated in your own flor. !! haha !!

  • @belac0r92

Cadiz 1596 looted on your own floor

    revenge!! : D

  • Famous sentence of a British Officer:

-The Spanish by the sea I want to see, because if we see them by land,St. George protect us.

  • Spain was the empire were the sun never set, the first nation in defeat Napoleon, the nation who saved Europe in 2 times of a mushlim invasion, the nation who discovered america, the first nation in have possesions in all the continents, the nation with an invencible army during 2 CENTURIES...Spain was an empire,Britain, was an isles full of pirates.

  • What about the ''invencible english'' commanded by Sir Francis (Pirate) Drake? What about the defeat of Lord Nelson (Pirate) in the attack to Tenerife? The isle was defended by over 300 mans and Nelson tought they were mora than 5,000.And what about that famous sentence...''The spanish pride humillated by vernon'' LOOOOL biggest owned in history.Blas de Lezo in ur face.

  • @RTO41 George Augustus Elliot

    Bow to your leader!

    lol!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Es una ofensa para mi,para ti, y para el mundo que compares a ese marica con Blas de Lezo.

  • @RTO41 Comparison lol!

    Elliot used guns

Don Blas hid and let disease do the job and was going to be removed by the governor for his poor effort but then he died of wounds! OUCH!

    that's the difference!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Blas de Lezo humillated GB. OUCH¡thats the difference!

  • English=Pirate/Thief

    you have been demostrated xd.

the spanis had fought against: France, German, Dutch, Italian, Ottomans and Venetians Simultaneously and they won.

Glory of Spain is biguer than glory of England

  • @belac0r92 so your answer to my question was England and Elliot in 1782

    = )

  • @LordGeorgeRodney disease did not Blas

Disease and God and wonderful English strategy won in 1588 20,000 dead and 60 ships lost!

    Top that!

    : D

  • Oh you British make me laugh! Always making up victories and hiding defeats... how humiliating was for "great" Britain the defeat against Blas de Lezo in Cartagena de Indias... that blows all the victories against the Spanish!

  • @ibanred making up victories!?

Try this for one Siege of Gibraltar 1779-83 60,000 Spanish and 50 ships against 5,000 Brits!

  • @Caraunio

George Augustus Elliot pawns De Lezo

    Gibraltar 1779-83

60,000 Spaniards and French with 50 ships against 5,000 Brits!

    Who won ?

    You are contradicting yourself buddy!

    Loser!

  • @toni0609

Ahh now we are making excuses

So why did you then start on the Romans in the first place.

    Pawwennndd!

  • @toni0609

    I'm too young for you .. :(

  • @toni0609

HA HA !! Hilarious! Spain didn't no!

British broke Spanish codes in Spanish civil war

  • @toni0609

Then the Romans and Moors conquered Spain!

    hee hee!!

  • @toni0609

Not surprising as Romans conquered Hispania!

    FUNNY!

    Lost legion! Picts ha ha!!

  • @toni0609

    Stop making pathetic excuses!

  • @toni0609 So what!

Operation mincemeat check that!! ha ha

    Spys in Spain! ha ha!

Americans? WTF?! There were no Americans in Falklands what bullshit

THe Argentines had more logistics from US Skyhawks, General Belgrano, uniforms etc etc

We had more help from Norwegians using satellites and communications!

  • @toni0609 we won the Battle of Britain and fought back not only from there but in North Africa to Italy.

    So deal with it.

  • @toni0609

Siege of Gibraltar most Spanish casualties were from action

It was the navy that suffered disease and the 3 successful relief attempts and the failure at Cape Spartel only added to Spanish misery..

  • @toni0609

    80%

    LOL!!

Many had to be scuttled because they were so bad and thousands more died in Spain from disease.

Spanish armada was Calais fire attack and Gravelines battle..

English strategy was to force the Spaniards round the hard way! They succeeded

  • @PerejilChris

    Havana and Manila 1762

    Two great Spanish colonial cities?

    LOL!

  • @jollyradical Dont try and worm your way around what you already said, Like its abundantly clear, you just love to make comments without thinking them through, And like your comment below its another one of your obnoxious opinions, Your historical facts are akin to those involving anything you want to believe ill wager,

I see below you being unable to retort with anything but fuck off to begin with as a "fact" Thus dont cry because i told you how it is in an unfriendly way

    Still waiting :)

  • The most significan battle in the Jenkins ear war was the battle for Cartagena de Indias in Nueva granada (Colombia). 186 british ships (bigger navy than the Armada Invencible) and 72000 british troops were killed against 3000 Spanish soldiers and 6 ships. That victory means that South America will be Spanish for another 100 years

  • @joseinasio

    72,000!?

    ROOFFFLL!!

1,200 were casualties in battle the rest were to disease

But nothing beats the huge casualty disaster as that of the Spanish armada over 20,000!!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney I can say that Spanish armada casualties die in the ships. Bad weather conditions. Not British weapons!!. Despite of that, the british ships sunked in Colombia were 186, 66 more than the Spanish Armada. As you can see, killing only 1200 british, the rest of the coward troops return to die in the ships, so you have 1200 soldiers and 70800 cowards. Nice armada...

  • @joseinasio

    what!??

    LOOOLLL!!! 186?!

In your dreams! No ships of the line were lost and only a few transports were scuttled.

Brits lost just over 1,000 casualties to rest were to disease!!

    PAWNED!

6,000 Spaniards were killed wounded or captured at Gibraltar in 1782!

    Now that's fighting!

    ; D

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Lol!!!. Are you angry??. That's the info your contry sells to you. The history is really different. In real history, Spain keep domaining in America during another 100 years. And British never try another attack like that against Spanish troops. Only coward pirates like 'Sir' Francis Drake who became Sir stoling gold to Spanish Ships

  • @joseinasio we could take Havana & Manila in 1762

    LOL!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney But you didn't.... Despite of that.... Manila is in Philiphinnes. That's mean, not America. Philiphines was controled by Spanish Empire until 1898. And Havana..... don't make me laugh. We could destroy London if the Storms doesn't destroys our armada in front of British coast

  • @joseinasio No he just owned, humiliated and pointed you out for your rather poor attempt at taking a dig at Britain because of your own defeat, Grow the balls and do what your forefathers did and know when to accept you were defeated, And when to acknowledge when you won a Victoria, As you can do neither im assuming you are obviously a coward

  • @LordGeorgeRodney And don't think I'm angry with you. I thanks to the british for the victory Navy against The Spanish-French Navy. If you never won that battle, in Spain could be speakin French. Thak's a lot for that!. And you must know that the family of Admiral Nelson, live in Spain now... ;-)

  • @joseinasio DOUBLE WHAMMY!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Yeah, sorry ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • lord George rodney.. hay mas mucho mas...puedes empezar por......Luis vicente e isla.....aunque en vuestros colegios solo os cuentas vuestras victorios......pero la historia esta ahi..saludos

  • ISLANDERS AND SHEPHERD OF PERFIDOUS ALBION !!! BLAS DE LEZO RULES!!!! (read about it)

  • @Masnovita11

    George Elliot

    RULES!

    Bow to your owner BITCHES!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

My lovely farmer from the gloomy island, you should take care about your language, it is not typical form a British education, or perhaps it is just a matter to pressure in the corret wound and Shepherd's Islanders shows the real thief you have in...always envying the richness of others countries....BTW who use to bow are your British fellow female in our beautiful and sunny beaches, sangria helps her to lose their Puritan mentality!!

  • The war later was subsumed into the greater conflict of the War of the Austrian Succession. The battle ended in a major defeat and heavy losses for the British: 50 ships lost, badly damaged or abandoned for lack of crew, and losses of 18,000 soldiers and sailors...

  • @Masnovita11 LOL!

Funny we won Battle of Havana 1748 right outside Havana

Also war ended in our favour as France lost Louisbourg,,..

Havana 1762 ha ha ha ha!!

  • @Masnovita11 Only 1,000 men were casualties rest were to disease...

Lost no ships except a few small craft..

get facts right.. Spanish lost 1,000 men also

Spanish Armada Spanish lost 20,000 men and 50 ships to storms

    Nothing can beat that!

    : )

  • @LordGeorgeRodney Thank the wonderful storms. What an interesting example of English power. Of course right after that the English depleted their treasury in order to launch their own armada at a weakened Spain. It was a financial and military disaster that embarrassed the English for years. Spain quickly went on to build an even bigger fleet than before and resume control of her lanes.

Not something the English like to remember as they hate to be reminded of their beatings.

  • @jollyradical at least we did better than the Spanish who never even landed except on Ireland only to get piked!

We then went on to win at Cadiz in 1596

Now that is what I call style!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney England was not prepared to resist such an invasion. Had nature not saved your butts and the troops landed, you' d be speaking Spanish right now. Spain however was never in that kind of danger.

Cadiz was a combined Anglo-Dutch victory. It did a lot of damage, but didn't complete most of it's objectives. There isn't much to brag about. The Anglo-Spanish war was a war of attrition and had to end in a treaty because both countries were bankrupting themselves.

  • @jollyradical In the same way certain parts of "Spain" are a constant reminder to them of their defeat just like the French and Russians at the hands of Britain through history? The same could be applied by all countries, The different is unlike Spain, France, And many others in Britain we learned from our mistakes and did better for it, Something other European Empires -failed- to do as we can see from history

Do you realize how stupid your comment sounds?

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 What the fuck are you talking about?

  • @jollyradical Read the comments dumbass, You must be a very ignorant bigot to not understand

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 There's nothing to understand because you said nothing, not a damn thing. What is your point? What mistakes did the British learn from. How did they do better? What the fuck are you talking about?

  • @jollyradical Happy to drop comments about it yet not actually that well schooled in it?

Go and pick up a history book, and use the comparisons that made British the most successful Empire for 200 years compared to its European neighbors who made the same mistakes thus leading to their eventual decline . .

Im not your teacher, and dont want to be the teacher of someone as ignorant as you

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 Goodbye troll.

  • @jollyradical Of course, the cowards best escape method, Go and look up a troll to, You will find you fit the description perfectly

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 There is no argument for me to escape from as you refuse to even describe what it is you're talking about. I know the definition of troll. Every one of your comments to me has been inflammatory. Stupid, dumbass, ignorant and bigot seem to be your words of choice.

  • @jollyradical No, Its been made quite clear, your just to shallow and stupid to see it

Thus making you ignorant, arrogant AND stupid

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 Ok let's add arrogant and shallow to the list. Can you think of any more?

  • @jollyradical Nope, I tell it how it is, And made it clear what you are judging from your comments, I suggest you go look back at your own comments, and my replies, then think on your answer, as we are still waiting on it

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 All of this channel's videos judge on the Spanish empire. It's all in good fun and I responded in kind. The channel's owner answered with verifiable historical facts as did I and he was respectful enough not to insult me personally. You however are by definition a troll, popping out of nowhere, babbling about vague lessons the British learned, refusing to clarify anything and throwing more and more insults.

  • @jollyradical Good at seeing the fault in others but cant appreciate what you do yourself right? Like i said, your a moron and a coward, Your attempt to "correct" him were nonsense and your stupid opinion little boy.

    "England was not prepared "

    "Thank the wonderful storms."

    Ring any bells you twat?

Your obnoxious opinion, you then go on insult and use dark sarcasm, this is all you are made of,

Your name is not even worth remembering

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1 Now I'm certain you're trolling, but ok let's add moron, coward and twat to your list of insults and unless you're lying about your profile age then you're the little boy here.

Nice try, but England's inability to resist a land invasion and the storms that nearly wiped out the Spanish armada, highly appreciated by the English, are historical facts not obnoxious opinions and your obnoxious opinions of my name or sense of humor is irrelevant.

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1

The Battle of Gravelines and the fireships at Calais PLUS the fact that the English channel was blocked by our Navy and this forced the Spanish to go round the really really hard way!!

It was an English victory alright because we had a brain the Spanish did not

They ended up being washed ashore all over British Isles particularly Ireland where they were piked by the awaiting English & Irish

  • @1MagicAndMayhem1

The greatest battle ever fought was at Gibraltar 1782

70,000 Spanish & French under Cordova were repulsed by us Brits numbering less than 5,000 during the Grand assault ! 9 ships of the line were sunk as much as at Trafalgar!!!

    PANWED!!

  • The Battle of Cartagena de Indias was a massive amphibious military engagement, then called a 'descent', between the forces of Britain under Vice-Admiral Edward Vernon and Spain under Admiral Blas de Lezo. It took place at the city of Cartagena de Indias, population 10,000, in March 1741, in present-day Colombia. It was the most significant battle in the War of Jenkins' Ear and one of the largest naval campaigns in British history, though it is now largely forgotten.

  • @Masnovita11

So is siege of Gibraltar 1778-83

    70,000 Spanish & French v 5,000 British

    Spanish lost 10,000 men & 10 ships

    FACT!

    MASSIVE DEFEAT!

  • take a look to youtube video called:

    Spanish,English Armada 1588 and 1741

  • the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V said he spoke latin with God, italian with musicians, spanish with soldiers, german with servants and ENGLISH with his dogs and horses LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

You will never win because the loss the loss they had was very humiliating for you, i'm ecuadorian and i know you are jealous of us, stupid english!!!!

  • @Alexhispanoamericano Why would we be jelous of you ?? BRITAIN is and will always be powerful.. we ruled half of the world.. did yours ? NO ! Jelous ?? Its just the way it goes... : ) BEST country won : ) Que verguenza?? baah Venga ya hombre :) we are PROUD no embaressed unlike your country !

  • - Gibraltar spanish?? hahahahahaha :)) your country still not letting that go ei !! Muaaaaaaaaaaaa xx hahaha :)

  • @AriiBaby100 Gilbratar is a shitty place without value

  • @0000samu

hardly the Spanish got thrashed by the Moors in a similar invasion nearly 25,000 men and 250 ships in 1775

    Algiers?

Ever heard of it. Funny then that there were British engineers involved who helped defeat the attack!

    ha ha ha!!

Nelson won at Cape St Vincent, & Trafalgar

come and see his column in Trafalgar square where Spanish canon has been melted down to help erect the Bronze effigies and lions

    : )

  • @LordGeorgeRodney but you can aso read about Nelson's defeat in Canary islands and Galicia... The Islanders use to forgget very soon this part of history as usuall.....in fact any of my angl-saxon friends knows it and also teh great defeat of Cartagena.....

  • @0000samu

Nothing is as humiliating as Havana 1762

we captured more Spanish ships of the line than we did at Trafalgar..

Between the two nations more Spaniards surrendered to the Brits. than vica versa

    LOOOLLL!!

  • @0000samu

everyone knows about the lie of the Spanish with 70,000 men getting trumped by less than 7,000 Brits at Gibraltar in 1782

    Hail to George Elliot

Spanish had to bow down to him!

    ..lol!

  • The Jenking´s ear war was the greatest humilliatiion of english navy of all times and this little man count on it as a victory....hahaha...the biggest navy until Normandia (bigger even the invincible armada by far) defeated by 600men in cartagena.

For all european nations was a big laught. British even made some commemorative coins about the conquest of Cartagena ( didn´t happen) and the surrender of the great Blas de Lezo...hahaha...please don´t believe your fake-history and learn the facts.

  • @madsileno

We defeated Spanish invasion of Georgia ..

We won the last battles too off Cape St Vincent and Havana in 1748

  • So, you consider the capture of the Princesa as a British victory. I do not think history of RN needs to tell a pyrrhic 3-against-1-battle to be proud of it. By the way, the three british battleships were 70's as well, not much smaller.

Moreover, you forgot to comment the production of a conmemorative british victory showing Adml. Vernon forgiving the Lezo´s life in Cartagena.

  • @cdelosri9

yep we still won in the end

    like we always do...

    : )

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

By the way, as you nickname Lord Rodney, ¿would you also consider a victory the raid of Rodney over Dutch Antilles in 1782, killing civilians (children, women...), only comparable with the "fairless" 1945 Dresde Bombing (at least americans bombed with daylight)?

  • @cdelosri9

    yeah awesome stuff...

    Rodney's credentials was fantastic.

Dresden we were making up for the exterminations of jews

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

Alright buddy, this wil be my last comment, but it´s funny now you mind jews, reading some of your previous comments. In fact, when I visited UK for a couple of months, I was the only spaniard who did not have problems with local people. The thing is I have blond hair and pale skin, no questions.

  • @cdelosri9 I have always loved Jews I'm not racist.

But remember this in 1200 AD 5 million out of 7 million inhabitants in Spain were muslim..

So blonde hair and blue eyes became black hair and dark skin..

Be thankful you are that minority.

  • @j0andc0

HOW ABOUT 10,000 Spanish surrendering at Havana in 1762?

    Beat that!

    : D

  • I assume u don't speak my language so that I will use yours to ask u a simple question I am sure u will be polite enough to answer Hon. LordGeorgeRodney.

After so many brave deeds and bright victories... what is your country today? let me tell you Hon. LordGeorgeRodney, it is a country full of immigrants where your race is gradually been replaced by black, asian and muslim people, forget about the past and enjoy your future :P!

    Regards from sunny Spain :D

  • Jeckin ear's war = spanish victory

    heavy britsh defeats:

    Siege of S.t Agustin

    Cartagena de indias

    Santiago de Cuba

  • @pledoux

    7 Years war

    Heavy Spanish defeats

    Manila

    Havana

    Portugal

    all in one year!

  • Alright, with respect and all I don't mean to be belligerant, but calling any Spanish defeats in this particular war 'humiliating' is complete irony considering the Battle of Cartegena de Indias. That practically defined 'humiliation.' I have taken the courtesy to watch the video through and I only see 'battles' of a ship or two captured here or there. The one battle of the war that actually mattered was Cartagena, which was a crushing victory against overwhelming odds. That can't be denied.

  • @RodrigoDiezBivar

so we won in Georgia we got one back...

    Spanish were booted out...

    Just as significant..

At Cartagena in 6 months the losses (90%) were to due disease & storms...

In 3 years I wonder how many Spanish died of disease trying to lay siege to Gibraltar 1779-83 ? It will never be known!besides this was a bigger event

  • @LordGeorgeRodney The best thing was your dearest king making conmemorative coins of Lord Vernon's "victory" against Blas de Lezo, and trying to destroy all of it after knowing that the biggest navy in all history (at this time) had been defeatesd by a very lesser garrison.

Ah, by the way, do you know how and against who lost Nelson his arm??

  • @LordNeo27

    LOL!

Sorry the Spanish attempt to seize Gibraltar in September 1782 was far far bigger!

Nelson lost his arm in Tenerife with a tiny force

Of course Blake at Santa Cruz sank an entire squadron

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

    1.- Blake: 33 ships; Esgués and Dávila: 16 ships --> RATIO: 1/2

2.- (at Tenerife) Nelson: 4.000 Marine infantry; Gutierrez: 200 soldiers and 1.500 militia ---> RATIO: 1/2,5

You usually win with a bigger force or with something at your favor. Do I must to remember you the attacks made by Sánchez de Tovar to England?? he destroyed all the south coast, and even came into the Thames and fired Gravesend. Your king could see this beautiful fire from his tower in London.

  • @LordNeo27 LOOOLL!

    Stop making excuses.

How about Cape St Vincent 1797

    24 Spanish ships v 15 British?

    Or Trafalgar 41 ships v 33 British

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

There are not excuses. English doesn't know to fight in equall conditions, at San Vicente a storm damaged our ships before the batlle, and in Trafalgar half ships were french, and the commander also. Even your generals admited the bravery of our people, you neede 4 ships per each of us to defeat us.

At Cartagena de Indias you were several times more than us and you showed unable to take the city, the same at Tenerife, or the attack to la Coruña, defeated by a woman.

  • @LordNeo27

Trafalgar Spanish were bitches of the French

    another excuse..

''storm damaged our ships before the batlle''

    an excuse..

So in 1597 we stormed Cadiz on your own soil

    At Gibraltar 1782 70,000 Spanish v 7,000 English

    Beat that!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney You are rounding again and again about Trafalgar and Gibraltar (you didn't fled because there were no place to go) because you have nothing more. Your soldiers were outragenous. Dutch, english and German fled away when hear (not even see) the spanish soldiers. When vikings make glasses with your heads we expeled every and single normand invasion. In Theyherden battle 7 soldiers made a batallion of english fled (again). The part of you that we know better is your back.

  • @LordNeo27

Moors made Spanish have 'nigger' genes

They did far too much f****ng

  • @LordGeorgeRodney I pity your inculture. We resettle moor cities as long as we conquered them, and we expeled moorish remanents twice, later.

The problem is that Spain was the only country that reconquered himself before conquer an empire.

And, by the way, while you were fighting the scottish Spain stopped the islamic invasion of Europe, three times.

But how will you know it?? At long last you are descendant of vikings and french...

  • @LordNeo27

    WTF?!

The Moors were conatined in Spain thanks to Charles Martel!

Check battle of Poitiers or Le Tours

    LOOOLLLL!!

    That is the real history!

    Spanish schools are telling fibbies!

Spain were conquered & only prolonged Islamic stay in Europe!

The other heroes are Austrians defeating the islams twice in Vienna ...LOL! No Spanish there!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Are you trying to give me lessons of history?? You, the one who steals battles and doesn't know wich ones had won or not???

Poitiers (or Tours) was just a sacking expedition, the real problem was the rebelion at Asturias.

Ah!! When Turkish attacked Vienna the emperor was Charles I of Spain, so there were several tercios in there and in the rescue expedition.

So we defeated them in: Lepanto, Navas de Tolosa, Malta... What did you do?? Cry about it??

  • @LordNeo27

    rooffll!!

Spain was conquered by Moors & now shows frustrations !

English helped with Lisbon siege in 1147 against Moors

Thus beginning a friendship that has lasted ever since!
