  • its funny b/c they have no videos about ron paul

  • @Billywask:

This channel is only about impostors, so Ron Paul doesn't qualify.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • @osirismen1 Fuck you creepy Ron Paul supporting bastards! You irritable sons of bitches! DAMN!!!

  • The real Rick scares me to death.... guy wants to start shooting off nukes! Needs to go to the mental hospital

  • wow you didnt say anything about iran?

  • So where is the part where ron paul says "im ron paul and i support this message"

  • @Mehcide Well, technically, Ron Paul has little to do with these. They're made by a Super PAC that supports Paul, and he's not legally allowed to work with them. They really should plug Ron Paul at the end, though, since otherwise it just looks like these guys are making the videos out of the goodness of their hearts.

(Note: I'm in no way, shape, or form a Ron Paul supporter.)

  • @NessMayala

Why not? He is a good guy.

  • @caderly123 Because I'm a progressive and Ron Paul: -is anti-abortion -is either a racist or an idiot (depending on whether or not he wrote/knew about the racist newsletters) -is against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Affirmative Action -is anti-union -Opposes FDI -would ban flag-burning -wants to eliminate birthright citizenship -sponsored an anti gay marriage bill -would weaken the clean air act and destroy the EPA -would get rid of OSHA
  • @NessMayala

"Because I'm a progressive." Ah. OK, cool.

I am a Constitutionalists, and while I agree that there are some less than stellar things about Ron Paul, I agree with most of it. According to the Constitution, The Federal Govt does not have the power to force anything down the States' throats...they need to figure out all that at the State level. I oppose any Fed government agency not mentioned in the Constitution. (cont).....

  • @caderly123 (cont) Also, the Constitution does NOT give the Federal Govt the power to make laws that affect all the States. (outside of certain areas) Now I agree that we need to have laws about the environment, gay rights, civil rights, etc, but only on the State level. I strongly oppose Big Government meddling in the affairs of the States. (cont).....

  • @caderly123

"Government by the People, For the People" will be much more effective on the state level because the residents of that State will be able to more directly control what happens to them. In the illegal system we have now, a person in Idaho can, with their vote, adversely effect a person in South Carolina with very different ideas about what laws to make. With a small Central Govt, and powerful State and local Governments this can be almost eliminated.

  • @caderly123 Well, I'm going to have to disagree. If states were left to regulate their own environment and treatment of workers, they would likely all get in a deregulation race to the bottom in order to entice businesses to come to their particular state. It's also important to note that the Constitution gives the Supreme Court the power to interpret, amend and enforce the constitution and through several amendments, it has given the federal government the right to pass these sorts of laws.

  • @NessMayala

Just finished reading the Constitution... could you show me that part that allows the Supreme Court to amend the Constitution? I know about the interpreting and enforcing part. But there is a difference between "interpreting" and "butchering." I do agree that Article III, section 2: "The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution...." supports the interpreting and enforcing, but NOT amending the Constitution.

  • @caderly123 I apologize; I was mistaken. The power to amend the Constitution is in the hands of Congress, not the Supreme Court. However, the point I was attempting to make, that the Constitution is a living document that grants the federal government the power to change itself, still stands. You may disagree with the laws and amendments themselves, but they and the processes that led to them are, in most cases, constitutional.

  • @NessMayala

...You might be right :) Anyhow, it really does not matter either way, because the only way to get a Government to change what it is doing is vote in a new one :)

Nice talking with you, by the way. I am impressed with your willingness to talk it out and be pleasant. SO may people just scream their party lines at each other without really debating the underling principles. Thank You.

  • @caderly123

Well, that pretty much made my day. :) I agree, you've been pretty fun to talk to. I always enjoy getting the opportunity to have my beliefs challenged and to do some new and interesting research. I also very much appreciate your civility.

  • these videos are not funny and comic acting is bad, it sucks.

  • @TurkiyeCumhurbaskani Yes, and there is no point to the "humor." Did you ever see the Sarah Palin video blogs last election? Those were hilarious. I can't remember the woman's name now who did them.

  • I can't take Santorum seriously after watching these videos. He's so cute and cuddly and I just want to give him a hug--then I see real Santorum and I change my mind a little. *sigh*

  • I can't take Santorum the least bit seriously after the whole definition thing with his name. It's too funny
