wax melts at around 60 degrees c ( or 140F for you americans :p)...so its not that unbearable, at least for a short while.

Paraffin wax is toxic. I use beeswax and will soon be buying and using Soy Wax which is more natural and better for the environment. I like the pressing idea though.
