Doesn't matter who you vote for, the Democrats and Republicans are controlled by the same group of people who pretend that Democrats and Republicans are different so that they can divide the country in two. So while everyone is fighting over political parties, the real issues are pushed under the rug. Well, actually, there has been news of the RFID chips in the mainstream media. They seem to approve of it's use as one clip calls the first Florida family to recieve the chips "brave". Why are you laughing? What people need to realize is that the two party system of democrats and republicans is a big scam to divide the American people and hide the true opposition. The truth is that less than 5% of the population controlls more wealth than the other 95% combined. The problem is that most people do not understand or know the truth of our world and thus power is consolidated into the hands of a few. I think it is a travesty, how people think that the national representative system means justice, when democracy is not about who to vote, but how they could decide for themselves.

The problem is not how the money is spent, the problem is where the money comes from. Firms gain access to candidates, their agenda's and their policies and thus the US is ran by corporations not real administration.

This democracy is only good for companies who will always make money, regardless of the candidate. The Romans at least had a Senate that used to remove its Dictator when they felt the need to. The US has a parliament that is just as guilty as the administrations themselves.

Right, but Al Jazeera is missing the point. The problem is not how someone is elected, it is that there exists an election system in the first place. It works by the hegemony of the means of decision making and media, and makes people vote for someone to decide for them. People should have a direct opportunity to debate the decisions and the society the elite create, and give someone a leader's status only if their actions are an example of greatness.

Providing an answer would greatly extend the piece. She couldn't just say "this is what needs to be done..." because that's editorializing. And while most US TV news media has no problem with that, its wrong.

She would have had to talk to numerous experts, likely from think tanks and other similar groups. Those groups are spread across the country, which means more reporters would have to jump in.

Furthermore, how do you know the anchor didn't have experts like that on as guests after the story?

Vote third party! If you look at all the money the Democrats and Republicans raised during the primaries from the combined candidates, it is well over 5 billion dollars.
