Great video :) On the other end of the scale i have here a country where visitors pay a minimum of US$ 200 per day, making it one of the most expensive countries to visit. However, this fee is all-inclusive, and you don't have to travel in a group and can arrange your own itinerary.

..flying into less popular city would be one of the points to consider, provided you have enough time. In Europe I found by traveling to Venice airport and booking online Train tickets to Italy, then flying from there one could safe 300 -400 Euros to reach same destination. We're have traveled extensively for many years as a family (of 5). Many times we have stayed at peoples houses totally for free.We have used our own network of friends, family and some special interests of ours to connect with people and stay with them . Sometimes we have used an orgainzed network, like WWOOF, to stay for free in exchange for helping out with things. One time we traveled for 3 months in the US (we're Swedish) and didn't pay one dollar for accomodation.
