  • not enough light!

  • now just put the glowstone level with the roof :P

  • Too easy for me, i'd make it so that the glowstone would be pushed to were the stone originally blocked it, so that there would be no space between the glowstone and the hole.

  • Fucking amazing, I really want to make it, and I think I'm capable too

  • You can do it with 2 pistons

just alternate cobble en glowstone, put a glass each 2 meter (1glass 1 cobble)

En finaly put pistons at the top en the end of the line

    sorry for my poor english

  • You sir, just earned yourself one subscription <3

  • Epic effect for a large warehouse, even the sounds sort of fit.

  • Hey, I was wondering if you had an automatic double door with lock video. i've searched everywhere and haven't managed to find one.

  • I love that "spooky movie lights" part, I did that ages ago and thought the exact same thing :P

  • Great job! I have made piston lighting in my last vid ( 2nd mansion ) without watching ur video.. umm... I think that my one is a but easier to make but you one looks better. anyway, great job:D

  • That looks Definately Awesome!

would be cool if you could make some more!

  • Damn man, very cool thing. You helped me out with Bill.978 too, i think ill subscribe! I can use this trick in my Co-op! :)

  • you did it wrong the lights (windows) are every i think 4-5 blocks you put the smoothstone and glowstone together like (Piston)-smoothstone-Glowstone and the another piston, so it gives off more light so the piston starts in the on position (It pushes) then when you flick it the other piston pushes

  • @wilfre2097 Sure, you can do it that way... but that's not as simple, and I wanted to introduce a very easy redstone/piston concept with this video.

  • you could just put the glowstone on the piston. it would light more.

  • @Vendosser The smothstone cuts off the light - just moving the glowstone wouldn't turn it off very well.

  • Wow, This is gonna be very Helpful! thanks for showing us! :D

  • @WhyDoYouLive7 Yeah, that was the major change in 1.7.

  • Dude this is cool! Nice job. I'm going to use your idea, ok? :3

  • @LOLseeker101 Haha... it's funny you mention that - it's going to be the very first thing I do when the SMP server I play on is updated.

  • @JuryDutySummons i just made a dark basement in my house with mushrooms in it

  • @JuryDutySummons what smp server do u play on?

  • one question have you got a video showing how to make sand traps as in when they step on a pressure plate on the sand they fall down ?

  • @LowaKitgirl you just mcedit sand in then attach redstone anywhere to it

  • @LowaKitgirl No, I don't - sorry. I'll think about doing one... pistons make all sorts of new things possible!

  • i take it the piston's are mods? :S

  • @purplepartyhat2 Originally, yes, but Notch liked the idea so much they added it to the game.

  • i was gonna make a tutorial of this same thing that I made!

  • @maribakumon Go ahead! There is plenty of space on youtube for two videos covering the same topic... you can even submit it as a video reply if you like.

  • Love the new intro dude :)

  • @MICHAEL138000 its not new

  • @maribakumon I just haven't done a minecraft video for a while, so it's new to some people. :D

  • @maribakumon The music is

  • you can use this as a simple trap with sand, gravel, or lava. you can also use them to make fake walls to secret passage ways.

  • I've always wanted a way to deactivate a dark mob spawning room so that You can make it with the lights on and once You leave the room You can turn off the lights to let the mobs begin to spawn in the dark. Or turn the lights back on the be able to make changes to the room. I also thought that it would be cool to have a piston valve that allows lava to fall through a vertical glass tube to light a room, and to turn off just stop the lava flow for a couple of minutes. Take Care.

  • Wouldn't it be easier lighting if you used normal pistons and then pushed a row of blocks back and forth? You'd have to invert one but it seems easy enough.

  • Very cool, to bad it's super dim!

  • nice

  • Third!

  • @JuryDutySummons But there's only 1 previous commenter!

  • @karlkid2 I was talking about your post.
