i agree with this video 100% about pet from puppy mills n pet shops n bad breeders. but i disagree about the warning.... a person should not just go get any dog with out researching the breed BEFORE bringing a dog/puppy home. It is just as irreasponsible for a person to just go out and get a dog with out any research on the breed as it is to buy, sell, support pet shops or puppy mills.
And yes it is in the dogs breed (i own a BC & a Aussie) to nip, but with training, exersice it can be managed
Any pup who ends up at a pet store, by definition, has come from a bad breeder. No responsible breeder would *ever* sell to a pet store, no matter how those pet stores are quick to tell customers that their puppies come from "caring local breeders." Just because a dog comes from someplace local and not one of the huge commercial breeders doesn't mean it's not a puppymill pup.
Don't buy so much as a chew toy from any shop that sells pups.
Pet stores who sell any animals never have the good of the animal in mind. These pets come from mass breeding farms and temperament is never a criteria for breeding at these places, just hoe many offspring can the pump out with the minimum of expense. Until the public learns not to support these places, thank goodness their are rescues able to pick up the pieces.
