For all the negative comments below me. Janet does NOT have limited talent. The reason y you see the same black outfit is because that's apart of rhythm nation it's apart of her album.. why not wear it during her performance i mean it's not like she still wears it when she performance rhythm nation nowadays. and besides this is the rhythm nation tour which was many years ago.. so why not wear the black outfit it's apart of the act.. So i mean what's the problem people??
um, no he did not. Janet used choreographer Anthony Thomas to choreograph the entire 'Rhythm Nation' project. and this entire tour was choreographed by Tina Landon. Janet has always had her own career without ANY input from michael, thank you.
The reason it is unchanged is because if you notice every artist has to perform their hits not matter how old. People go to concerts to hear them perform the songs that they liked. It is easier to switch up the music, i.e. faster or slower etc. However, people expect to see you perform the same as the videos and thus the reason why artist don't change the choreography. They make a few modifications but, for the most part it remains the same because of the fans
I can agree with what you say about her limited talent, but if you look at all the concert versions of Rhythm Nation, from the first tour to the last while majority of the dancing is the same, the last part of the dancing id dfferent for each tour, on the first tour she pretty much did it like the video, the Janr Tour she just did a dance sequence, the Velvet Rope tour she did a nija type dance and the All For You tour she added in The Knowledge

I am not trying to trash Janet or be mean spirited...but come on...how many times can you do the same thing over and over!! Even Britney Spears (who I hate) switches up her songs and changes the routines!
I think you do have a valid point, although I'm more troubled by her redundant sex themes on her last 5 albums. It was fresh and groundbreaking in '93, now it just sounds desperate and contrived. She's supposedly working on another new album, so hopefully we'll get something better (and different!)

Well I disagree. I think each dance is different at the end but its sweet. I know the dance are the same but thats the dance for that song but her new songs she got new and better dances I dont think nothing wrong wit it yall just need to leave her alone.

First of all, this video is from 14 years ago. Second, it's the visionary choreography from the original music video that makes this song even more powerful. Third, if she's so "limited" in her vision, then why are so many present-day performers mimicking her so much (Beyonce, Ciara, Rihanna, etc.)

I am a Michael Jackson fan...and talent must run in this family. This performance is amazing.... and Janets' voice was flawless....and she is singing live which must have been hard whilst doing that routine!
