  • Unconditional fan of Bach, I am discovering this interpretation. I am sure JS himself would be very proud of it. It gives a different taste to it, without damaging in any way nor the genius nor the awesomeness that lays in this piece of music. Many thanks, Mr Loussier.

  • Bach would have loved this!

  • nothing like naked chicks and music

  • I have enjoyed the music of Jacques Loussier since the 1960's. I find the language quite interesting from the moronic gutter snipes that don't seem to like this. Perhaps the wax buildup in their ears is an indication of the constipation they suffer. I suggest a purging to help clear the mind. Possibly tutoring will raise IQ levels. Anyway, Thank you Jacques for 50 years of fun interpretations.

  • @prahacr1

With great pleasure I read your superb comment ! I 100% agree with it. I also have been a great JL fan since the 60's ( I am your senior by 2 years !) starting in the Netherlands. I loved the way you commented on those silly characters who have no taste and no brains.. Purging is the answer I agree ! Greetings from Australia !

  • Loussier your a master ,and well knowell OF BACH

  • very nice ! です.

  • Bach w kazdej formie doskonaly :)

  • Oh, I really appreciate the Klimt, Amberambera.

  • More like a Bach Arabesque or Gypsy style Bach. Somewhat entertaining but, not exactly.

  • Fantastic trio since the 60s, updating baroque Bach

  • updating??

  • yes updating from baroque mode to jazz mode on a two step rythm. On the same period of time came the Swingle Singers updating Bach and Mozart.

  • Right I see what you mean. But you should use a different word than 'updating' as that implies some kind of improvement over the original.

  • Well, it's kinda renewal, as my teenaged grand children "update"me to "up to date" dance and music, from the swing big band and jitterbug

  • tout simplement genial open your mind if bach was alive today he wrote the same arrangement

  • Some open minds should be closed for repairs.

  • How to ruin Bach...

  • Yeah I know... so much nudity.

  • I like this piece and these pictures as well. Are they impressionism?

    Nice job!

  • Gustave Klimt's work is difficult to categorize, but is often associated with the symbolists and art nouveau, but it also has some ties to expressionism. ;)

  • @Amberambera Klimt ist clearly Wiener Jugendstil thus art nouveau

  • Great, great, great!!!

  • I gave you five stars =P luisdelbar, blogspot, com (change comas for dot)

  • I like it too, thank you for share it... =P

    Directly to my Blog: luisdelbar,blogspot,com

  • i like it

  • .......everytime bullshit like this happens Bach Kills a Kitten

  • ¿what you mean about bullshit? I think is nice, I liked it, I like Bach of course, the original I mean, I know this is so different, like classical crossover or something like that, maybe it is a little sacrilegious, but is nice... ¿what you think about pictures?

  • What's wrong with keeping an open mind about music? I'm into Classical, and also Jazz. I see no problem in combining the two. I also like Drum 'n' Bass, which is I feel, musically akin to Jazz in its' arrangement. Keeping an open mind is what creativity is all about!

  • I don't particularly care for this 'particular'

piece but there is so many other styles and types of music that i enjoy.

Me being a 65 year old Hoodrat, i like Wagner, Classics iv, Amanda Tosoff, Snoop Dogg too!

I agree with you GRIM 1, an open mind.........so much goodies to listen to!

  • @Grim1of2

I could not agree more. This masterpieces comes to life again, in a way that I hope may find paths to even more peaople starting to like this amazing and wonderfull works, even if in another genre. I shure am one of them. I find Loussier Trio to really make Bach live ones more with their sparkly touch, heavy bass and rythm and great skills. True musicians.

    Regards

    Grimm (2of2) :)
