What do you mean by "excessively PC"? Anyway.. I think that if you`re a region of IPSC, you should play by its rules or else USPSA should be an independant dynamic shooting sport.
Over the past 10 years, IPSC dramatically changed competition rules to accommodate regions who were unable or unwilling to follow the original rules, often for reasons of "political correctness". USPSA was required to follow rules which had no application to USA laws or culture, even in club matches. After years of negotiation, IPSC allows USPSA to rewrite USA rules closer to the original version. USPSA members must follow IPSC rules in matches outside the USA.
United States Practical Shooters Association. This is the American region of IPSC (International Practical Shooters' Confederation, pronounced "IP-SIC")
USPSA has recently published its own competitive rule book, which ignores IPSC rules, often considered excessively PC. The sport of Practical Shooting involves drawing from holster, shooting on the move, non-bullseye targets.
