Hey I saw your comment about your dog getting cancer. Did your rottie eat science diet? Our Australian Shepherd just had to be put down due to stomach cancer and we think it was due to eating recalled food
I don't know about you but i see a clear pool in the video and a dog with great fur... But thanks for your 2 cents worth... How about going to a spelling class instead of sitting on youtube all day???
@gutiardude19 the only reason why a pool would go green is if it's stagnant and doesn't have chlorine to kill bacteria. Now because the pool i see in the video is practically crystal clear I will safely assume they have chlorine. To address your fur complaint, you simply rinse off their fur thoroughly to get the chlorine out similar to how humans rinse off after swimming. But seriously...go to school and learn to spell.
My pitbull does this for his toys. he can dive like 6 foot. he loves the water so much he goes crazy when i water the garden or use water at all.we are going sailing soon and I am bringing him I hope he doesnt jump into the ocean.good video I thought my dog was one of a kind glad to see he isnt .
@kig the last time i checked dogs love water haha. aren't meant to swim in water? psh. just FYI, navy SEALS train dogs to jump from a helicopter into the ocean. are you saying the seals don't know what they're doing?
I had 2 Rotties ,and both hated water I could'nt even get 1 of them to get within 10ft of a pool or any large body of water without him getting funny .
I thought my Shelby could swim well, but that's amazing! He'll throw his head under while swimming, but I've never seen anything like that. For those up in arms about it hurting, there's no way a Rottie will do something like that unless it loves it - I cannot keep Shelby out of water even on the coldest of days. And if I walk him away from rivers he'll just find a puddle and gallop back and forth through it until he's absolutely soaked. You have an amazing dog!
this is the third vid on youtube i've come across of a dog doing this; other was a border collie in about 4 or 5 feet of water; and a jack russell in what looked like a deeper pool; maybe 9 or 10 feet?
impressive, but even 4 feet of water really hurts MY ears...i'm worried about the dogs; their ears are far more sensitive...and vulnerable!
ma labrador loves water, if he sees it he just has to get in it or drink it but im not sure he would go unda water, babujizara1 shutup just look on the fun side
I had a Rottie that used to swim - she loved it, and would just hop in at will when she got hot. She had ear issues - but we still couldnt stop her from swimming. She loved it!!! You go Dog!!!
omg i got a rotty and i cant get it anywere near some water.. if i pick up the hose it bolts into the cannels lol!! so yer but that dogs pretty skilled?

ya a dog doesn't know how to hold it's breath so it's probably going to get pneumonia and die and the dog hairs going to ruin your water filter in the pool
Yeah, you do realize that dogs don't know how to do Valsalva techniques. They could rupture their ear drums doing that. It's cool, but if you care about your dog, you'd stop it.
not always, a dog will do almost anything to get what it wants even if its way outside its comfort zone and even dangerous, heck my dog tried to grab a pizza cooking in the oven once! Stupid animal! XD
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
you are assuming the dog knows what happens when it tries to grab a cooking pizza. Dogs are like children. Ever see why people have to child proof their house. The child or in this case animal has yet to be taught that A + B = pain.
Well I don't know what all people have. My dog dives because he want ôo There is nothing about it is bad. If he don't want he don't do it or ?
Excuse my bad English I am from Germany xD

@kig what??? dogs can swim in water just as much as humans can.....how do you think they survived in the wild before becoming domesticated??

@kig That's exactly why they bred the retrievers and water dogs way back when....right...

STFU, retard. Swimming pools aren't remotely deep enough to cause ear drum rupture.
