What kind od guitar are you playing very pretty.

Like your Acoustic as well I think its a korean made, I say this cause I got one went to the store to buy an electric acoustic, tried all the USA made but it played better and it sounded better unplugged.

I wish it had better neck markers but it a great guitar.

mostlt not. its pretty much like jazz, soloing over a chord. most of the time its an open major scale with some chromatic notes added.

That's the best way to keep pushing yourself and get better. Think of riffs that sound good in your head, and then sit down with the guitar and work them out. We're all limited by our physical skills, and you have to practice to catch up to what's in your head. Those who stick to what they're already capable of never get better. Even Steve Vai has to sit down and practice the stuff he comes up with.

Check it out: Learn your guitar line slow, then try to rush through it, as in try to play it really fast, it probably won't sound great but watch what your hand does. It will naturally tense up how it needs to be shaped. Freeze your hand in the postion that it takes naturally when you try to play fast. Then practice the riff really slow, but with your hand froze up in the "fast" postion. Thats the only way I've found for nailing those lightning speed parts like Danny Gatton.

Where do you get the money to buy a Crook Tele? Aren't they like $3,500 bucks? I realize that some people can throw down that kinda jack, but I thought they were all serious touring pros. Props on the selection, though. It is the epitome of Telecaster sound.

I didn't pay that much for mine, though I'll tell you: Bill Crook builds an amazing guitar. I am actually in contact with him to try and get another one. Not sure what I want yet, or more to the point, there are too many of his designs that I want and I can't choose :)
