Why would having am movie mean no stage show? Heaps of Operas and musicals have films made of them and still go through revivals on Broadway and a m,illion amateur productiosn that are almost as good as if not better THAN the original casts.

This movie is nothing more than a hackneyed version of Goth. Halloween cloaks in cemetaries, BDSM, obsessive blood and gore, Paris Hilton, and lame vampires are not Goth. The director should have stopped making movies after Saw I. Now he's going to make the ignorant masses adopt even more incorrect ideas on the subculture. He's going to make a mockery of the real Gothic subculture.

Oh, I know this movie isn't Goth. What you stated I already knew. However, there's plenty of people who will think the movie/play is Goth because they don't know any better. You wouldn't believe the people on Facebook who think things like vampires, blood, and fetish are Goth. This is just going to warp their minds even further. And I perfer the Sisters of Mercy :) Plus, Paris Hilton was quoted saying she was bringing back "Goth" with the movie. I know it's not Goth, you know... but, whatever.
