  • gay music. In astronomy there is no music.

Like in science there is no scary music

  • how much?

  • Have you ever seen anything unusual?

  • this doesnt work with a barlow lens, video is made by a webcam, so only prime focus photography is possible

  • @astromarcel I don't know about this particular video, but I certainly use a webcam and barlow lens together on my Celestron Ultima 8 when I want to. So you're wrong about that.

  • good video however a barlow lens would have given you a much closer view without the need for bigger aperture

  • if i get like a 10 inch aperature with the same lense how much bigger do you think it would look?

  • hehee, nice video and superb song!

  • What eyepiece did you use for this? Thanks!

  • seen any aliens yet ?

  • do you live in a light poluted area?

  • can i get a view like this with a telscopes that has 900 focal lengt and 114 aperture?

  • @NAGULNR2 You should be able to.

It sounds like a refractor(Uses lenses), so your image quality is more-or-less entirely dependant on the quality of your eyepiece.

If you use ~80 magnification you should see some nice detail.

  • good one... thank you for sharing

  • Can I get a view like this with a telescope like the

    Celestron Astromaster 70AZ?

  • @jaidemm no this capture is done by a 200 mm telescope, yours is 70 mm

the view with a 70 mm telescope on saturn is just a small spot

  • @astromarcelThis is Astro-Photographer of ASTRONOMY December 1982 BackIssues. It is NOT true that your 70 mm. Aperture Refractor can't get large Planetary shots. If your Focal Length is 500mm. or above, you can purchase a Tele-Extender for your 70mm. Refractor at say 700mm.Focal Length, using "Eyepiece Projection and NO Vibrations"you should get descent Planetary Images.I own both the 203mm. Schmidt Cassegrain & an even smaller 60mm. Carl Wetzlar Refractor and have DONE Successful Par-Focal Images!

  • molto bravo !!

  • Cool, thanx for sharing.

  • I have just bought an Celestron 114QE telescope for my daughter. I'm hoping she may see things like this with it. ANY help would be gratefully recieved as we're both new to Astronomy

  • @zombiemalenurse Let us know! ;0

  • @zombiemalenurse seeing is everything, on a good night, any size telescope will show you saturn's rings... get that finder scope lined up with the telescope before the sun goes down ;)

  • hi can you tell me the name of the song please???

    AMAZING video ¡¡¡¡

  • David Bowie - Space Oddity

  • i want one of those !

  • Thank you for filming this.

Saturn at it's closest is almost 9 AU from the Earth.

  • I LOVE the Super Polaris mount :)

  • BTW 205 mm(8")

  • You have a nice setup! The 8" scope does a nice job. Really enjoyed your video presentation.

  • Great video :)

  • Nice, thank you.
