@gameteacher101 I agree. On my netbook, IE8 was a bit faster than Safari 5. Chrome is even slow on my netbook for some reason. With some tweaks I was able to make IE8 super faster, and making it faster by getting rid of ads using simple adblock(check my vids for more info).

For the people who keep saying they don't like Internet Explorer 8, or it's slow or something, I'd like to tell you, to get on a nice big monitor, with a high resolution, and open Internet Explorer 8, and start browsing and using Internet Explorer 8, for at least like 30 minutes or something, and if that computer is running Vista or 7, that's better. @race1717 Switch to firefox 3 it takes less than 5 minutes to download and every thing includeing plug ins and add ons are free. Plus FF3 is soooooo much faster, and easier to use, since it doesn't come with extra non-needed crap like IE.

They're doing this for users on such browsers as IE6. They really don't give a shit what browser you use so long as it is a modern one that can support what they want to do. They don't want to waste time coding for archaic browsers and holding back innovations. IE8, Chrome, Firefox 3.5, Opera, Safari 4, it makes no difference to them. They just want more people to upgrade to a modern browser.

The only reason youtube won't work from IE8 is if you've got the 64bit version. Since there's not 64bit version of flash afaik, flash sites won't work unless you've got the 32bit version.

At least that's what I've found. Aside from that, it's actually alright.
