Id like you to comment on just how much of a retard Diaz is for his interview. "If I can't win then I won't play." He actually said those words. Diaz and his nuthuggers hid behind the whole "hold me down/points contest" bullshit for years. Well tonight he run into a better, more technical & smarter fighter, who absolutely DID NOT hold him down, whose lateral movement, footwork & head movement meant he hadn't a clue what to do. @cmcgrath10 Well, one of the main reasons he did take his ball and go home was because the UFC fighters get paid poop. I'd be super pissed as well if I lost to someone who was back peddaling all fight. The first 3 rounds Carlos hadn't really hit Diaz with anything noticeable besides leg kicks. Not worth is to go through all that for some bullshit decision, especially with someone like Cecil Peoples judging. Why is he even a judge at this point?

@dmoney5157 Backpeddaling and lateral movement are not the same thing, man. If he was just backpeddaling, then the cage would have worked against him completely. Neither fighter landed really great or significant strikes, but Carlos landed more. Nick Diaz was too busy taunting and trying to show boat in the early rounds like he always does, and guess what? I didn't work this time around. He lost the fight fair and square IMO.

Condit would have easily lost to McDonald, and although McDonald is active, he is not the sheer volume puncher that Diaz is. I'd probably pick Diaz as well, but I'm just hoping for an amazing fight since both are great fighters.

Any way you slice it though, Condit and Diaz really do open up a large number of potential great fights in that division.

On a serious note, Carlos Condit defeats Diaz. This weekend, Diaz gets found out. He's been hyped as elite for a long time now and he isn't. Fitch beats him. Kos beats him. And GSP beats him. But Condit is the only guy that will beat him at his own game. Its criminal the lack of respect given to Condit. He's a killer. Smashing Rory 'Future Champ/Absolute Beast' McDonald & Dong Hyun Kim is way more impressive than smashing lightweight BJ Penn and Semtex. Condit will be move too well and TKO Diaz.

-he went about 4-4

-was finished only once (caught early by arguably the best hitter in the bunch)

-in the other 3 losses, being tentative was his opponent's gameplan (ugly sprawl & brawl decisions)

And Roy always plods forward and is usually the aggressor on the feet, even when dos Santos was killing him he came forward, if he adds some late round takedowns to score points, then il think a Nelson decision is coming up.

of anything of Roy's that lends to a dec win is that he's been trimming up, not his aggression imo. Its all about pitching a (grappling) shutout. Even Nogueira curbed himself some when they fought.

'dumb/no gameplan' imo its: BigFoot, Zentsov & Aleksandr E. (respectively: too much ground / went there w/out hurting Werdum / didnt even train ground at camp) It shouldnt, but it kills me that the Fedor who fought Monson woulda done = if not > than 99% of the ppl who beat Cavalo.
