Knock out of year is obviously Rashad Evans but Anderson Silva vs James Irvin was also good

IMO, it was either him or Rashad. Coulda gone either way but with the odds stacked HEAVILY against him he came through with two impressive performances.

Fedor is going to fight Arlovski in a few weeks and likely Barnett after that. The UFC doesn't even have 2 fighters in the HW division as good as Arlovski and Barnett.

Fedor is fighting the best HW's in the world without even signing Dana's one sided, controlling contracts.

Dude is as relevant as Anderson Silva, GSP, BJ Penn or the Gracies at UFC 1.

Well, Fedor beat Nog 2x and I don't know anyone who things Randy would beat Fedor.

Outside the UFC he can fight Overeem, Barnett, Arlovski, Werdum, and other worthy opponents.

When talking about contenders, who does the UFC have for him that he hasn't beat? Randy, Mir, Gonzaga, Lesnar?

I know there are a buncha youngins, but does Carwin, Velasquez etc.. deserve a fight with Fedor? Who really thinks Kongo, or any other strikers in the UFC have a shot in hell in beating Fedor.

I do agree with that statement. Arlovski at this time is the best boxer in MMA and Barnett vs. Nog has split their fights, however, with Nog's last performance, I would have a hard time betting on him against either of the two. But forgetting nog, for now, I think AA and Barnett are the best competition for Fedor as of now. After he fights and possible beats them, it would be nice to see him fight Mir etc

Tommy speer got kicked out of UFC (or left) but he still fights. He had a fight in October and a couple fights in November. Various minor organizations, but still professional fights.
