  • i like how the only way bill wins a conversation with scholars is when he cuts them short or the film short he is very foolish, so he is saying dont believe in Jesus christ??? because he has come to save the world and love the weak and save us from our own sin and make it to heaven yeah theres nothing good about that message???

  • Finally someone agrees

  • Take the worst and pretend it's the norm.

    That's never been tried before!

  • 666 likes FTW

  • I liked christians more we they were fed to lions.

  • Just watched the whole movie. kind of frightening if u ask me....

  • I like you Bill, I like you a lot. Would be nice to have you in England but I think you're more needed in America.

  • @Skyswinger lol i think i might start leaving copies of the religulous dvd in chrurches, on the inside of the bibles :D

  • WHO IS GOD? WHAT"HIS REAL NAME? GOD GOD? WHY IS JESUS FAMOUS? HE DIED 2000 YEARS AGO!!! WHY DONT UBELIEVE IN GHOSTS, BIGFOOTS, AND SHIT LIKE THAT WHERE THERE IS EVIDENCE!!!??? BUT PEOPLE DONT BELIVE IN FAIRY TALES!!OF COURSE THEREE IS NO EVIDENCE!! BUT THESE APES BELIVE IN THE SOCALLED GOD!!! JUST BULLSHIT!! STUPID RELIGION!!

  • Christians are irrational. Jesus was rational.

  • @tenchikou If he had lived today he would have been considered a crazy hippie cult leader

  • @lasseplatburk Crazy because he taught to treat each other as themself. Crazy because he included everyone? There was no grouping, that came after Jesus. And with no group there could be no cult.

The cult of Christianity came AFTER his death.

As for hippie, well, you probably are right there.

  • @tenchikou Well, he also told people to abandon their families to follow him, that he was the only way to salvation and said that if they loved their families more than they loved him they were unworthy. Sounds like something GG Allin would have said.

  • @lasseplatburk I believe you're referring to the man that wanted to follow Jesus but asked to bury his dad first. And Jesus said forget him. Why dwell on the dead. Which makes since.

Seeing that half of the stuff, if not all, Jesus said was metaphorical, couldn't the "only through me" have been. I think he meant through his teachings you could acheive a better state of life. Through treating others right, you could acheive a better state of life.

  • @tenchikou I'm sure you knew Jesus really well 2000 years ago.

  • @bigfrotes9912 I know him as well as someone who studies Abraham Lincoln would. I've read material that others wrote about him. (the gospels) Take out the small-changes from book to book and you'll see what is constant - what is the most trust-worthy information - what he taught.

He didn't teach walking on water or healing. He taught to love one another. Somewhere along the line, Christianity lost that value when Rome endorsed it.

  • @tenchikou Okay, well the gospels were written decades after Jesus died and were merely written based on hearsay about Jesus' life. So, really, it's not really trust-worthy information.

  • Go Jews!!

  • I wonder what he would say about the faith of Martin Luther King Jr or William Wilberforce.

  • @asheiban2 The same thing we say about Thomas Jefferson. He was a ridiculously intelligent and influential man who helped cement the US as one of the most powerful to ever exist, and one based on absolute liberty for everyone.

He also owned slaves. A LOT of slaves, and didn't want to get rid of them. Thomas Jefferson was an amazing man in SPITE of his belief in slave ownership.

Martin Luther King Jr was an amazing man in SPITE of his ridiculous beliefs.

  • @cyberslick18 you would be right if King's faith had no positive effect on his action. This is not true, if you read King's autobiography or even do a quick a youtube search you will see that it is his faith that prompted him to stand up for righteousness even to the point where he was happy to die for African-American rights. Likewise it is true for William Wilberforce. Whilst there has been a lot of bad from religion one cannot be ignorant to much of the good that has come from religion too.

  • This guys is a pawn of satan, either knowingly orn un-knowingly.

  • @SteenkampG well, he cant be a pawn of jesus, because he has something that christians, and religious people dont have, Logic and common sense.

  • @kianslt4 haha be careful now you're going to be called a pawn of satan

  • Comment removed

  • You'll come back on a white horse? I'll take Satans motorcycle and run your horse the fuck over.

  • Humans are ignorant believing in a god thats doesnt exist and never will... praying to nothing instead of realizing they have the answers to there problems... religion will destroy us, it has always been the cause for all destruction... i just wish to wake up one day were there is no religion... that will just be a wonderful day

  • @batistadaniel18 if only that would happen. too bad religious people are too brainwashed to realize its all bullshit

  • Maybe we just need to start the whole God concept all over again and scrap what we have now. Men have taken control and well...

  • Guess what. You missed the rapture, bitch.

  • Dear Lord, protect me from your followers.

  • Maher needs to be open minded. He is self serving!

  • @xukeith33 Maher is the most open minded person. to be open minded is to be able to accept new concepts and see others ideas. Maher used to be religious and if he wasnt open minded, he would remain religious like all the idiots who are praying to air and asking for mercy, in order to save themselves from the end of the worlds, which is not true, unless it is ironically caused by the corruption of the STUPID minds of all believers of religion.

  • "....and I'm gonna come back on a white horse!"

  • Brilliant documentary! It sure opened my eyes!

  • @Steinie lol actually its a comedy..

  • @gravityblast07 - LOL! He may be a comedian, but this is no comedy. It just proves to me how gullible religious people really are!

  • @Steinie he said so himself on real time and i agree with you on that

  • I think religious people just have a low IQ...

  • A lot of people should watch this documentary, he raises a lot of good questions and he puts a lot of priests against the wall with great questions, and some priests like the one he meet outside the Vatican agreed with him and he was a senior priest. Also may I add how dumb was that girl saying that she voted for Bush because of his faith............give me a f*cking break, he was the one that put the country at war and send our soldiers to the middle east along with his a**hole dad as well.

  • "No one knows, so let's find out." A quote from Gerald V. Casale of Devo.

  • Agnosticism is the only way of thinking that makes sense to me. The problem with beliefs, is they're really just assumptions. If you actually knew something was true, you wouldn't have to believe it. Beliefs are a way to compensate for lack of knowledge. Whenever someone says they believe something's true, they're actually saying they don't know, that they've only assumed it. Does it make sense to try to make people live their lives in accordance with your assumptions?

  • this idiots trying to start a war that will end with two things, extermination of athiests or extermination of believers. He thinks the only way to win is to be as racist, narrow minded and intolerant as a zealot, because thats what he is. He is just the opposite to the "god hates fags" protesters. What humans shouldnt do is remove religon or athiesm, it shoud just remove poeple as fanatical and intolerant as this from BOTH sides.

  • hi dylan

  • The world will never know peace until it gets rid of religion.

  • @davidls11 I think this movie is funny, and I'm not a particularly religious person by any means, but getting rid of religion really won't change anything. North Korea's an atheistic country and I'd hardly describe that society as being "peaceful." even if all the holy texts in the world hadn't been written, if people hate each other and want to kill each other, they'll ALWAYS find a justification for doing so. if they can't get if from religious sources, they'll turn to secular ones.

  • @erikvan8 North Korea isn't an atheistic country, they believe their leader is a god.

  • @randomguy7890 perhaps I'm mistaken, but I recently watched a documentary about North Korea and it seemed pretty clear to me that they worship their leader AS IF he's a god, but they don't literally believe him to BE a god. the state definitely discourages and violently oppresses all the religious groups Maher goes after. apologies if i'm incorrect in that case, but I still think atheism (you can see it in countries like China, Cambodia etc) is no better or worse for the world than religion.

  • @erikvan8 Yes but atheism does not cause or inspire or lead to communism. You are confusing cause and effect. (Actually, the fact that communism leads to atheism may be the only good thing about communism)

  • @randomguy7890 how am i confusing cause and effect? i'm not saying the societies i mentioned are flawed because of atheism, i'm saying the fact that those societies are just as deeply flawed as those wherein religion is practiced/allowed/encouraged shows that atheism doesn't automatically make for a more tolerant or peaceful community.

  • @erikvan8 So, religion automatically makes for a less tolerant and peaceful society. And anything else that also does (such as communism) should be disposed of as well.

  • @randomguy7890 if religion is "automatically" positioned against peace and tolerance, how do you explain away people like Thich Nhat Hanh and Thomas Merton, people who encouraged interfaith dialogue between Eastern and Western religions while contributing to secular causes like desegregation in America andthe withdrawal of soldiers in Vietnam? how do explain away MLK Jr.'s and Gandhi's dedication to their own religious faiths? These kind of people used their faith as a force for good

  • @erikvan8 I think all of those people would have done the same thing even without their faith, and I don't think Gandhi was actually very religious, but I'm not sure about that.

  • @randomguy7890 well Gandhi did I say I like your christ but I dont like your christians meaning he likes the message but doesn't like when people forcing their interpretations of that message on to others

  • @randomguy7890 the problem isn't religion, its the way certain people misinterpret religion--people like the ones criticized by Maher

  • @randomguy7890 as i said, i respect maher's film on a lot of levels, but the idea that abolishing religion = world peace just doesn't make sense, imo. plenty of religious people are ignorant and violent, using faith as a way to overlook basic truths of life; plenty of them also use their faith to do good things for those less fortunate than them. if a priest is inspired by his faith to go out and help a leper colony or a third world country, i don't see why that's such a bad thing.

  • @erikvan8 I don't believe that getting rid of religion would lead to world peace but I also cannot see world peace happening till we got rid of religion. Religion based belief systems can be very dangerous and we have many demonstration of that and it also makes people hate one another or ignorant about science (which can also be dangerous sometimes) simply due to their religious beliefs

  • @onebaud1 Tim Tebow blows

  • @joshbrownie911 HAHAHAHAHA that fit right in. Cracked me up

  • @onebaud1

Fuck you and your belief in god. :)

  • @jwsyt2 Life happens. There is no plan. You're life and mine are a result of circumstance and choices. The things and voices you hear are manifested by your own mind. Meaning you said them to yourself. That means you helped yourself through whatever or who ever you prayed for. That's it, you live your life all by yourself. We all do. Get used to it

  • Bill says that this life is trivial to a religious person because of the afterlife. On the other hand, a Christian might be motivated to do good in this life because it pleases God. So I think there are two sides of that argument.

  • Comment removed

  • Bill Maher annoys me. While he has good intellectual intentions in mind, he goes about them like a moron (he claimed, in actual belief, that 9/11 was a result of sexual frustrations on the part of the terrorists). In general, he gets on my nerves.

However, this was a very good film, and a 5-star ending.

  • does anyone ressemble this guy with the scientist or doctor .. from The Mask? animation series ..

  • The greatest strength of religion is emotional.

  • Religion/God speed is ending the planet sooner than later. Christians think this good cause they will be with god sooner, how crazy is that. Tell your children you'll go to hell if you don't believe. Maddness that humans can't think for themselves which is the biggest disaster of the planet. Shame on the person that backs religion into this speeding process of disaster which is inevitable. Oil + Religion + Politics = $. Divided by war gives a remaining factor of Over!

  • very powerful, i love it

  • I despise all religions and the sick fools who preach it more and more each and every day. I just don't understand why so many seemingly healthy brains can't see through the nonsense.

  • We are not at war with "terrorism" we are at war with the SOURCE of it. Can you image an Amish/ Mennonite terrorist? Christian values(as opposed to "Christians" who in no way are followers of Christ eg. Crusaders)canNEVER be the source of terrorism. We did not declare this war.It was declared on us 1400 years ago, continues to attack & always will. It will never seek peace because its core value is war- religious war. Sorry Billy, equating Christianity with Islam is simply adolescent .

  • This fool Maher, declares himself to know what is right- this preacher of his own utterly intolerant religion, does not say that ALL atheistic regimes, ALL, were involved in mass murder,USSR,China,Cambodia.Remember Pol Pot? French revolution? etc ALL ATHEISTIC enterprises, ALL attempts to exclude our loving Creator(who btw is NOT Allah)always have& always will result in massmurder, disaster, bondage and perversion on vast scale.JudeoChristian VALUES r utterly unique guaranteeing human rights

  • @jwsyt2 lol, Allah and the Christian god are one in the same you retard, you both worship the "god" of Abraham. And I believe Abraham married and slept with his own sister, got drunk all the time... and he was a murderer, but yet one of god's favorites. Anyways, that's not the point. Point is not all mass murder was done by the hands of atheists, 70% of it has been done by religious nuts. Remember the inquisition? Read your bible, it's filled with genocide. George Bush is a Christian too.

  • @Severe777 it would be better for you to read the Bible because all you say about it is in total error (just read the book of John it will take you maybe 45 minutes). then you may start to get some idea of the Bible- still actual after 4000 years. There is no other book like it. No, Sorry, Allah is NOT the. Judeo Christian God. Allah preaches genocidal extinction of all the Jews... Allah is another spiritual entity entirely. There is absolutely no connection between them. This too you can study

  • @jwsyt2 lol, Allah is the same God, look it up. And please don't be a hypocrite... the Christian "god" ordered genocide and human/animal sacrifices through out the old testament. I have read the bible, it's filled with violence and fear. Definitely not a book I'll let my children read.

  • @Severe777 Sorry of course u hav not read the Bible, Because you are in utter error of what you say about it. We humans, not God messed up. God created us to relate with Him and gave us paradise. We humans have turned our backs on him and have invented religions and cults instead. We humans destroyed paradise on earth to make hell on earth. We r the authors of violence fear sacrifices Not God. He IS LOVE & Bible is His personal love letter to you. Start reading the Bible- with the book of John

  • @jwsyt2 lol, I love how you ASSUME I haven't. You do know the bible is filled with genocide, rape, murder, cannibalism, animal/human sacrifice, incest, and self mutilation all mandated by YOUR "god" right? Not to mention the bible is a CHOCK FULL of UFO activity.

  • @Severe777 sorry u have no knowledge whatsoever of the Bible- no, u have never read it. None of the horrors u describe r the mandate or work of God but rather of you and me- of us humans. YOUR God (YOURS cuz He created u 2 altho U REJECT HIM), Loves u so much that He came to earth to take all your blame from u onto Himself and then give you the FREEDOM peace joy prosperity that u long 4 as a free unearnable gift.THAT is God in contrast to man. Find a Bible now & read the book of John 2 know Him.

  • @Severe777 on your site u say F "Christians" Do you say that about CHRIST too? Forget about "Christians" there r all kinds of people calling themselves that who have little or nothing to do with Him. Seek Him, directly- speak to Him in your heart & you will hear back. It is as simple as that. Challenge Him: SINCERELY say for Eg: Jesus, I do not believe U exist BUT If you r who U say U r, PROVE IT TO ME- Then if U do manifest 2 me I will decide to hang out with U or not You hav nothing to lose

  • Comment removed

  • @Severe777 WHAT were u devoted to? To Jesus? NO U WERE NOT! U were involved in religion not with the PERSON Jesus. No one is ever BORN a Christian!! you need to turn DIRECTLY & PERSONALLY TO JESUS. Were you a CHRISTian according to CHRIST? No u were not. you were involved with Religion which is STIFLING. That is why you are no longer involved with it. U, WE NEED SALVATION NOT RELIGION GOD HATES RELIGON! Google it up finally! U hav yer back firmly turned to Christ. HE IS A PERSON NOT A RELIGION

  • @Severe777 Yes of course REAL Christians all communicate with Jesus. BUT YOU NEVER YET HAVE. Jesus is humbly waiting for you to turn your face towards Him yet u reject Him. He manifests to ALL those who invite Him. WHY? because He created U to be free 2 reject or invite Him. Christ will never manifest to U until you SPEAK TO HIM AS TO YOUR BEST FRIEND. Do it right Now without waiting for a special moment, say 4 eg Jesus, I regret the wrongs I did to myself & others. Forgive Me. Manifest to me

  • @Severe777 Evil intrudes into our lives. it never asks our permission. Why not? because it wants us in bondage. Jesus is different. He is HUMBLYasking yr permission RIGHT NOW to come into your life. Why does He ask your permission? BECAUSE HE WANTS YOU FREE IN ALL THINGS. He will never impose Himself on you because He made u FREE to choose to walk with Him or alone & subject to evil. YOU ARE SPECIAL because He is speaking 2 u always,. But you never heard because you were involved with religion

  • Comment removed

  • @jwsyt2 lol first of all, you know nothing about me. I gave my heart to Jesus and I loved him, I never just "prayed" for myself. And Jesus doesn't answer prayers by the way, it's the psychic powers within your OWN mind that makes Christians/Muslims prayers come true in the first place. And why do Christians always bring up "free will" do they not understand their own bible? Free will doesn't exist. You HAVE TO BELIEVE in Jesus or you BURN. That's not free will. WAKE UP YOU BRAINWASHED MORON!

  • @Severe777 on your site u say F "Christians" Do you say that about CHRIST Himself too?

  • @jwsyt2 Holy shit, you are brainwashed beyond words... Exactly what the Illuminati want. And yes, I do say FUCK Christ. Also, I was devoted to Jesus, I loved him to death when I was a Christian, but he never helped me in the times of need and I was sick of never getting a REAL answer, then I started caring if my beliefs were true or not, so I did the research and it ends up the evidence that says Christianity is bullshit OUTWEIGHS the evidence that says it's not. You THINK you communicate to god

  • @Severe777 you were "devoted" to Jesus ON YOUR TERMS- NOT ON HIS. You never invited Him into your heart nor did you EVER surrender to His will. You always told Him what He was supposed to do for you. You never sought His plan but always told Him yours. That is why YOU NEVER KNEW Him, why you never heard His constant REAL answers and why you spit on Him now. Start over RIGHT NOW Ask Him to change your life according to HIS, not YOUR will. He will manifest.Your life will start2 become wonderful!

  • @jwsyt2 Hey you still haven't answered my question, did you just IMAGINE what Jesus would say to you or did he just physically manifest before you? And if so, why doesn't he manifest before all of us and save all our souls from eternal hellfire? Why just manifest in front of you? What makes you so special? And what scientific proof do you have to back it up? If it's true, convince us. Having faith does not lead to the truth. So please, explain. If you can't prove it, then STFU! :P Peace!

  • @jwsyt2 So you actually talked to Jesus? Did you just "imagine" what he would say or did you actually physically talk to him? If so, then how come he doesn't manifest himself to all of us? What makes you so special? And before you start assuming again, I was a Christian for 12 YEARS, a DEVOTED one, born and raised, until I did the research and WOKE UP. Albert Einstein said a personal god does not exist, but the god of science does. WAKE UP AND LISTEN TO REASON!

  • This ignoramus, Maher, preaches his personal religion as right equates Judaism&Christianity with Islam. Mohammed had 13 wives&married his favorite, Aisha, when she was 1 year old and began having intercourse with her when she was 9. Mohammed preached (as Islam does today) that all infidels are to be forcibly converted by the sword, or else killed or kept as 2nd class citizens (as today in all Moslem nations...) This fool has not done his homework. Yet he flaps his mouth with adolescent nonsense

  • This arrogant, utter fool ( Maher) preaching his religion, hisown world view as right, believes that he does indeed have all the answers viz. that "nobody has the answers" if that is so then he has just hoisted himself on his own petard- then he himself certainly does no have the answer. so he is full of... foolishness. This ignoramus has not read the Bible and no person can be truly cultured or educated without having done so. This fool maher wrongly equates Islam with Christianity.

  • "Religion is dangerous because it allows human beings, who don't have all the answers, to think that they do."

    Simple

    Powerful

    True

  • The world is in a conflict between Reason and Stupidity.

  • @politicoochie09You are So right! Reason points clearly to God, Stupidity turns its back on Him. the greatest scientist of all time, Isaac Newton said: Great science leads us to God, small science leads us away from Him - start learning, studying to develop your reason

  • @jwsyt2 You need to look up the word "reason" because you clearly don't know what it means. Isaac Newton was right about The Laws of Motion, but a complete whackjob when it came to religious ideas. He also rejected the idea of the Holy Trinity (which you undoubtedly accept), so be careful whom you quote. Even great minds get it wrong sometimes.

  • Bill Maher is a professional liar

Most people know what this is about…. all that they want is to destroy Islam!

And he is pretending to attack all religions!!lol

    You can’t fool me!

The one who try to defeat Islam is like the one who try to extinguish the sun !

Breaking news for you!! It can’t be done.

My question is why didn’t he bring verses of the coran in a note about killing the infidels to the muslim imam in his documentary like he did with the Mormons ?

    ISLAM PREVAILS

  • @amine17360 Obvious troll is obvious

    Learn to spell :P

  • Comment removed

  • @amine17360 And here, ladies and gentlemen, we have a prime example of what religion does with people's sanity.

  • @amine17360 Yea, it can be done. With genocide or one of you crazy fuckers ending up getting a nuke and destroying us all. Either way, you're all idiots anyways. You believe a book to be written by god, but if god truly does exist, he wouldn't be writing a book to communicate his word to people. Islam is a man religion. And if your Allah does exist... he definitely hates Muslims. Look at the way you guys live. LOL!

  • Bill is right. The love that comes from religion is not without a price. There is no free love with religion.

  • Bill Maher = Genius

    Religion = Ignorant and Dangerous

    Any Questions?

  • Bill Maher is a legend

  • Maher is great but Louis C.K.'s video about Catholicism is even funnier:

    /watch?v=VABSoHYQr6k

  • How to become an atheist in 5 minutes

  • @Leroy095 didn't do it for me..

  • sin is what blinds humans and makes them corrupt. repenting to christ will save you from your sin.

  • Comment removed

  • @Leroy095 na ill pass

  • @Leroy095 Wrong, Like me, Maher preaches the word of "i dont know", to be an atheist, you have to be certain there is no god, likewise you must be just as closeminded as christians, only with an open mind and wisdom does one admit he could be wrong.

That said, I believe more likely then not, there is nothing out there, but I dont know.

    You dont know

    No one KNOWS.

  • runemaster123654 I wish that more people would make sense like this... it is the only true belief.

  • if you like BILL MAHER you will like TOP 30 UNIQUE VIDEOS

  • Your missing the point Bill. Believing in God isnt harmful. believing that God is Talking to you, Favoring you above other humans, and then acting on what (god) says to you. THAT is Dangerous. What would Jesus Do? he would GET THE FUCK OUT OF EVERYONE'S LIVES! thats what JESUS would do! he would be peaceful. he wouldnt start a fucking war in Iraq because somebody attacked us either! i love that. the bible says turn the other cheek, but lets bomb the FUCK out of them. makes perfect sense.

  • @Toyman1982 The belief in God and the belief that God intervene's in human affairs are one and the same. One would not believe in a God who had no power. People remove themselves from reality by believing in God. When things get in the 'too hard basket,' people submit to delusions of higher authority, higher power that will help. Belief in God IS harmful. Yes, singluar isolated incidents good occur (which would have probably occurred anyway), but they are nothing compared to the negatives.

  • @Louie212121 "The belief in God and the belief that God intervene's in human affairs are one and the same. One would not believe in a God who had no power. " Not necessarily. See: Deism.

  • @Louie212121 those who have turned their backs on their loving Creator, such as you, have utterly removed themselves from reality, truth and freedom and have entered the realm of delusion, submitting themselves to circumstance, submitted to the god of self focus. There is no ultimate good that does not have its source in God.

  • @jwsyt2 How ignorant can you be? "...Loving creator," ... is that a joke? His love must be hard to see, because I see millions of children starved to death every year. I see war, death and destruction inflicted on millions over thousands of years. I see bigotry, hate and prejudice which exists for no other reason that the fact it is written in holy books. The only thing I don't see is hard evidence for this creator's existence. The only deluded one here is yourself.

  • @Louie212121 Louie, WHO MADE THAT MESS? starvation, war destruction pollution genocide, bigotry hate racism perversion, WHO? GOD? No YOU & I & the rest of humanity made the mess God gave you me, all humanity paradise, Eden, &WE turned it into hell on earth. WE, NOT GOD ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT GOES ON ON EARTH. We screwed everything up BY CHOICE. Humanity turned its back by free will on our Loving CREATOR JESUS. As we turn to Him &invite Him&His intervention back we can create Eden on earth-

  • @jwsyt2 Well if you believe in Eden, then you believe we are bearing burden of Adam's sin, yes? If so, here's a question for you... If Adam was made in God's image (perfect, as he is written to be), why would he sin? A perfect being would not make an imperfect decision. It's a logical fallacy to suggest that something that is perfect would make a mistake. Even if God gave Adam free will, being perfect, he would never chose an incorrect option. He couldn't have been perfect AND made a mistake.

  • @jwsyt2 oh yer and.... still waiting on some hard evidence for all your rambling. Still all sounds like what you FEEL, not what you can prove.

  • @jwsyt2 I do not talk to 2000 year old Jewish zombie spirits. I will continue to live my life, here in reality, while you pray to your God for the end of days. It's not coming... he's not coming, and hopefully you can just live out your life quietly, albeit a litle psychotically.

  • @Toyman1982

That would be no different from wishing for luck from the skies. If God is not going to do anything to Earth nor to you, if he is just going to leave everything alone. Why call him God? Its because religious people believe that God will help them as long as they are loyal, that they do so much stupid shit.

If you ask me to choose between the 3, Believing in god ONLY, Believing that God talks helps and loves you no matter what and Get rid of the term God totally, I choose the last.

  • Egyptian civilisation had condemd the jews to slavery for 400 years

American civilization had condemd the black people to slavery for 400 years

European codemd the jews to slavery for 10 years during the nazi ruling

Islamic civilization did not condemd the jews or any other people to slavery during 1400 years of it’s history

Islam is the only salvation for humanity

  • @amine17360 no, they just condemned women and pretty much everyone else who isn't a muslim

  • @amine17360 Lol you aren't very smart. Europe didn't condemn Jews to slavery, Nazi Germany did. Well lets see what has come from Islam... 9/11 bombings, London bombings, 'honour' killings, raping and beating of women who don't wear veils, countless wars and... well you get the idea. Islam, like every other religion, is poision.

  • Fuck Yeah ,Bill! Religion must die!

  • @amine17360 its is spelled atheism :)

oh and btw fuck islam and your fucking cruel, bronze age sharia law :D

  • @amine17360 really? every civil war? may i see your sources/data/proof?

  • @amine17360 islam is the most harmful religion there is. Go cut someones head off.

  • grow up or die !!! this guy is a terrorist

  • Epic!

  • This is the classic atheist argument: religion is wrong because it creates intolerance and injustice. I used to think that way once. Unfortunately, those qualities seem to have more to do with human nature rather than the belief systems we create. Those tendencies will survive the death of religious belief.

This is also a very poor argument in defense of atheism. You are essentially arguing that God doesn’t exist, because you do not like the adverse effects that religion has on society.

  • @mwindmatch I believe that a power far beyond human comprehension may exist, but I don't believe that any human being knows of that power and certainly no story or book written by a human being knows of or understands this power. If you can't see how religion segregates, brainwashes, and terribly stifles the growth of human beings then you don't understand religion.

  • @mwindmatch if your god was any good he wouldn't let this shit happen, bro.

  • What, oh I'm sorry I was listening to the epic music

  • Religions attract and prey on seekers; those who need to create an identity for themselves and others because they don't realize who they truly are. If one is seeking, there must be a sense of lack. Seeking is the antithesis of happiness.

  • Funny thing the last word from the movie isn't Maher's, it's from Bush. And it is "evil".

  • This is probably the truest 5 minutes on the internet

  • He is looking more and more like a serpent.

  • Bill Maher on running for office..."I think religion is bad and drugs are good, its not a popular opinion"...funny stuff

  • Bill maher doing the work of satan! why is a comedian attempting to sway people in the atheist direction anyway?

  • @beefstroganof Too bad Christians are clueless that most xews are faux atheist and the others are in their theology schools teaching them they got their 'religion from the Jews" and they are suppose to sit quietly and kiss their azzes until Jesus comes. Jesus said no such thing. Too bad Christians pay all that money to xsrael not knowing how much the xews actually hate them. Why doesn't he show the xews end day plans?

  • like that the "i want to evolve" ad was for this video

  • Damn! All the religious people he talked to seemed pretty dumb.

The religious people are forcing "the end of the world."

    3:06 Dumbest woman on earth.

All the religious people he talked to are so dumb! I guess all religious people are just all dumb ass people. That must be what religion means, dumb & ignorant.

  • @G0FlyAKite1 Right, because Maher didn't have any control over what was shown in his film. Pfft. Maher specifically chose the stupidest religious people he could find. He didn't interview smart ones because then his film would have looked more like a balanced debate, and he wasn't interested in that. He only wanted to set up straw men to knock down.

  • @jakeharvey

You all believe in the same bullshit.

  • So Bill Maher wants us to rid the world of the hatred and abhorrence brought about because of religion by... developing a hatred of and abhorring all things religious in nature?

  • @elysium735 no not hate, but a recognition of religion's meaninglessness and the following dismissal of it.

Think of someone telling you 2+2=5.

You would not hate that person but you would dismiss them.

  • @elysium735 Yes.

  • @jakeharvey but.... but.... but....
