The music is TOTALLY distracting...Please stick to the message--it's compelling on its own merits. Why jazz it up and obscure what is being said? I quit listening half way through solely cuz of the music's interference.
It's ironic that so many Americans might view this as anti-patriotic and my fellow Canadians might view it as counter-progressive while we ramble about wealthy elitists taking over our governments and ruining our countries. Any opportunity for the socially and morally conscious to believe in "free market" economics died a long, long time before Mexico fell to NAFTA and it disgusts me to no end that it's still core to so many peoples' ideologies.
Brilliant staff, well put, especially at the first 3 minutes. What is the name of this guy who gives this excellent lecture. Is there is any group of people in uk who are likeminded.
NAFTA and the government is killing us all. Grow your own food.We need to grow our own food. Raised bed gardening is very efficient and you can grow all the healthy food you can eat in a small backyard. Get heirloom seeds so you can get seeds from your fruit, they are trying to ban them in favor of gmo seeds which dont reproduce seed. God bless
@CodexAlimentarius1 growing my own food and being self sufficient sounds good, but society has its benefits. the whole point of a market and human cooperation is that we can get more doing less, while helping out other ppl
@Tmanslick I'm assuming you're referring to a Monsanto act disabling a farmer's ability to sell produce due to contamination from GMO's. This is totally neoliberalism.
The reality is that poor countries need some brand of capitalism for real development. It's a matter of proper implementation. Countries such as Estonia and Poland can serve as better models for how to implement market reforms.
A sovereign state should imply their own political, social and economic systems. The intervention and imposition of any of these systems into a sovereign state by a foreign state is unethical exploitation. Let people find democracy, constitutional republican governance and capitalism by themselves. No intervention, no exploitation, no manipulation.
Great video and the audiotrack was sweet, my only comment would be a lack of examination between neo-liberalism and neo-realism. While quite similar, it needs to be addressed.
Point 1: Liberalism (aka institutionalism) and Realism (aka skeptic) both began from the writings of Enlightenment Era thinkers (e.g. Emmanual Kant, David Hume, John Stuart Mill, John Adams, etc...).
Point 2: Institutionalists and Skeptics exist at the local, regional, state, and international level: Joseph Nye and Francis Fukayama serve as two examples of "Neo" level on the institutionalist side, while George Kennan and Kenneth Waltz serve as "neo" thinkers of the skeptic camp.
The Liberal and Conservative leaders of the U.S. have already enslaved American citizens mentally and they are getting ready to do so physically with martial law. They DIVIDED us politically and made each side polarized using their "values", "morals", and "political stance" based on events carried out by the government that have fabricated purposes. In other words they have DIVIDED us and now they will CONQUER us. The U.S. no longer has two opposing parties, but instead we have ONE.
neo-liberalism has nothing to do with us liberals? say what? bill clinton was not on the streets of seattle, he was on the other side of the fence. and if you think hillary and obama won't be too....
sure, but to help to create those new "democratic" systems...there are clever americans who were trained in the best capitalistic business university of Chicago....those trained chicago boys help to create neo-liberalism in poor countries, take adventages, spred american imperium and build new ultra right government and seed the huge corporations.. Read Shock Doctrin....will explain...
what is the fourth and final agent of neoliberalism? I can't hear that words. tks.

The drum track is too loud. The speaker should have been mixed in the foreground. Most of the time it's hard to hear what he's saying.

Just a suggestion: take out the music while you are talking. It's so loud and makes it difficult to hear what you are saying.

Would you say that the government taking an American persons land so that one business can build its corporation is also a form of Neoliberalism??
