This is absolutely amazing. I've heard of this robotic lion that he's made, but I thought it was just a rumor. What an incredible genius, where did these ideas come from, it appears that we have invented almost nothing new in the 20th century.

@PhilWithCoffee Well, we do have the antibiotics from 20Th century, that has to count. But, yes, this is amazing, and almost half a millennium latter, one could argue that we should have flying cars by now.

It's funny you should say that, I read something recently about antibiotics (or rather, something with antibiotics properties) being used in China more than 2k years, and vaccines (as you may know) were derived from the act of inoculating which is from the middle ages.

I think it's astonishing how much we knew so long ago and are just rediscovering. In many ways, it seems, the ancients had it more together than we do now.
