I think that I could go without meat for along time but I live ham bit I love salad and stuff and carrots so I think that I could go without meat for a long time
@nebraskafrankcourtny - wow, those are great suggestions for sprucing up a pizza hut pizza and making it vegan. Daiya cheese is great and it melts very well!. Have you tried this with out popular pizza places? How did it turn out?
@beyondthegarden yes. Daiya cheese is the cheese that everyone has been in love with. EVERYONE. The Vegans use it to cook with everything ( at least I see Vegan Zombie on here cooking with it) They have all the cheese you want, it melts, it tastes good.
Looks great!! Thank you for the video! I recently re-discovered Pizza Hut - you can get any pizza you want for $10, so I researched and found the crust, sauce, and veggies are vegan. So I got a large deep-dish with no cheese, extra sauce (no charge), onions, peppers, and green olives. Took it home. I can only eat one slice at a time, b/c the slices are huge. I put Daiya mozzarella on top, microwave it about a minute, and it's incredible!!!
Hey EJ, Thanks for putting this video up, because I'am also vegan and I'am very skeptical about eating pizza because it's so many out there for vegans but you have to be very careful like you said. Because some of the cheese have casein in them. You have to read the ingredients and all the labels. Thanks again for this video, I love all your videos keep them coming EJ!!!!!lol:-)
@GodsBeautifulGirl77 Hey lady! How have you been doing?! Glad to hear from you! Yes, there are so many hidden animal products in our food. We have to read labels. I wish there was more transparency. I am glad you enjoyed the review and thank you for the support.
I did not know tofurkey made pizza. Thats pretty cool, although there is no way I would pay 8 bucks for a pizza that size. (I am no longer a veg so I would just buy a totinos pizza for 99¢) I love their deli products however, and of course the classic tofurkey which we eat every holiday since I prefer it over meat.
If you're interested in a vegan pizza crust made with black beans (full of good protein) lemme know I can msg it to u, if u used it in a vid obviously I'd like credit though. =-p
@faylinameir LOL...I feel ya on the $8. Oh wow...I would love to try the black bean crust. I bet it is delicious..and of course I would give you a shout-out :) Why did you get rid of the veggie lifestyle? Thanks for watching and thanks for the support:)
@MsPassover07 Hey There - Yes, I have seen Amy's "no cheese" pizza. My dad..when he became a vegan several years ago..didn't have all of these options to available to him as he does now and he used to make pizzas without cheese and they were soooo good! As for the tofurky pizza...my local Whole Foods didn't have it. I actually had to buy it from a store called "Earth Fare." Have you been able to find this pizza near you?
@beyondthegarden Hey Lady, I haven't been able to locate that tofurky pizza at all. Sure wish it was a available, I've never had vegan cheese pizza. My local market tends to carry a lot of Tofurky products, so I plan on asking if they would order it. Blessings :)
Tofurky products are usually good so I'm sure the pizza is tasty. Did you by from a store like Whole Foods? because I have yet to see that product in a regular market.
@precious014e Thanks so much for the information! I didn't know the Rice Crust Pizza with Spinach was vegan. I see it all the time in the store. I am going to have to try it out. Have you tried it? What did you think? Thanks for everything :)
@beyondthegarden I have tried it, I eat it almost weekly lol. I <3 that pizza. The cheese doesn't exactly "melt" like regular cheese but it is really good tasting. And instead of a normal pizza sauce it is a pesto type sauce. The only thing to remember with that pizza, since it has a rice crust it is more delicate so you have to be careful to not over cook it.
