i am a new sub and i have to tell you that you have perfect skin! not a pore! i will have to check out your past videos for your skin care routine. if you have not done one - please think about it. thanks!
Just bought this today because of your video! Same color as well...Its nice to find a beauty guru that has combo/dry skin, because it seems like everyone has oily skin! Great videos, keep it up!
hi girl! i was wondering if you could tell me what the main difference is btwn this foundation and the mufe hd foundation. i have combo skin. and i am interested in both. please reply? thx!!
@mplovesbreakfast sorry its taken me so long. The blush ivory would be the correct shade for you. you can try using a green primer or green concealer on your more pinky areas to kind of tone it down, and then the foundation would even it all out :)
i buy a ton of foundations, so I think I will get a sample of this for now since it is so expensive,. what are some of your other fave foundations for dry skin? It's hard to find a guru with dry skin... which I have.
@pinkabuki the sample lasted me for about 2 weeks so its worth a shot :) I also am loving right now the neutrogena healthy skin, the boots No7 Lift and Firming, Chanel Pro Lumiere and MUFE HD
I love your videos! By the way your baby is adorable! I watched this video like the day you put it up and I've been wanting the foundation since and it's almost december! haha your skin is georgous! I have had the counter try this foundation out on my like 3 times and I love it! Love this video!
idk if you know this but youre actually not supposed to use brushes with the laura mercier creme smooth foundation because of the intensity of the pigments, the brand reps say to use your fingers or a good sponge so the product can melt into your skin properly, thats why you get a better finish when youre using your fingers vs brushes.
OMG I love your videos :) You´re super kind and cheerfulllllll in theemmm! I so love that about you! I Hope you´re doing good! :) And I´m sure Hazel Will make you very very happy :)
what i dont understand is why do you use all your hands to put the foundation.. a mean.. most of it goes righ away if you apply it with All your hand. Also i recommend you another one that i've been using for the last 3 months i think.. and its the DERMABLEND FOUNDATION.
@missgothika it might look like im using my entire palm to apply it but really im only using a small part of my fingertips. im just not very delicate with it. no product goes to waste. Ive heard of the dermablend, ill have to look into it some more.
@lette76 ohoh. that makes sense.. thats what i was saying.. abou using the hole palm.. cos i don't use the brushes either. Only my fingers :) Yeah, its pretty great, i've been using others but i really think dermablend is the best... also it says that i has been tested in swimmers to show how well it stays with water. Thanks for answering!
@uhhohhoreoxo i cant give you a definite answer on that because im not sure, but normally if you just ask for a sample of a foundation they will give u a small one if they can. liquids, creams, loose powders. things like pressed powders, and eyeshadows, things like that, really wouldnt be accesible sample wise.
@purpleshik i dont use any mac liquid foundations, but in their studio fix powder foundation (which i LOVE btw) im in a c3 or c4 when im lighter like i am right now.
Lette, Please tell me what concealer you used! I think my MAC Studio Finish id breaking me out :( I have these little bumps there now and its starting to look cakey under my eyes after I apply concealer. Any suggestions? I like how the yours looked afterwards.
@Special1K1 i absolutely adore my maybelline mineral power concealer. its the only one i will use under my eyes. its not cakey or thick. just very smooth and absorbs very nicely into my skin. you have to try it!!!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh I love your new foundation. I've been searching for years for the perfect foundation.... I have found Mac MSF Natural in Med. Plus and Fix + ! It works very well with my dry skin! Thank you for sharing. You look fabulous! XOXO Mary
@AkForgetMeNot65@LETTE76 For everyday, (mostly for college classes) I use MAC MSF Natural in Medium Plus with Fix+ too!!! Works great for my NC30 complexion. But I definitely want to try this LM foundation for the colder months :)
@Special1K1 OMG isn't the powder wit fix+ awesome? I am totally in love with them both. You said you had dry skin too, here is what I do and my dry patches WILL NOT show at all.... you know when you look in the magnified mirror and you can see the little flakes of skin? Gross I know! anyway, I wash my face in the shower with Olay creamy cleanser with exfolliating beads, then wipe my face with Neutrogena cleansing cloth that removes make up, have to add more in next post. LOL
@Special1K1 wait for that to dry just a little then I spritz on Fix +, use my dryer on cool and dry my face. Then I spray Fix+ on my brush then into my MSF powder then buff onto my face! I hope all this makes sense. These two Mac products are my Holy Grail Foundation. And I can layer it on the days that I need more coverage. Sorry for the long speel.... Take care beautiful XOXOX Mary
@AkForgetMeNot65 Wow, thank you for the tip! I already have those cloths and I do hear good things about Olay, so won't hurt to try! I didn't think of spraying the Fix+ on the brush and dipping it in the powder!! Yes, I can't wait to give it a try! :D peace! xo
@Special1K1 love msf natural. If you've seen my natural makeup video its what i use :)) perfect for lazy days, errand days, uber hot gross days, lol...
@IdolEyesDre aw thanks!!! i do have alot of redness though that you really cant see. but did just pick up a redness cleanser today so we'll see what happens :)
Thanks for the great review! :) I've really been wanting to buy this foundation but I'm not sure about the shades. What color would you say you are in MAC right now?
@kayteex023 i have never used a liquid mac foundation. i use their studio fix powder foundation though in either c3 or c4 when im paler and nc42 when im tan.
I really want to try that stuff. Your skin looks great. I haven't really tried any foundation, besides the Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse, and I'd really like to try others 'cause I really don't like that one too much. lol. I wish I had a local Sephora 'cause otherwise, I'd get a sample.
@BalmaholicTV i could send you whatever is left of my sample if ur pale and have more of a yellow undertone :) i have a ton left in that lil thing. :)
@VLannieee i wouldnt recommend it for oily skin unless you use a drying/matifying (sp) primer underneath. But the laura mercier silk creme would work great for oily skin :)
God, you're gorgeous.
