I like the feedthepig when it comes to people stressed out in dept. (such as myself) However this could bad for the economy. If everyone follows this advice.

@IBMeddling not really. Being in dept very bad for economy. It remember before the crash hear ad about saving rate was equal to the save rate right before the great depression. save in the right percentage of income is good for the economy because as consumer you can take shocks and not reduce spending.

@IBMeddling Yeah, I agree with ya! The first time i saw one of these commercials the immediately message was 50% "SAVE MONEY STOOPHID!" but I couldn't help but feel the other 50% was "STOP PUTTING MONEY INTO THE ECONOMY YOU DUMB KIDS!" (Considering the age group they are targeting is a pretty large contributor to the economy, and receive some of the least government assistance) So far the message to me is that they have it out for coffee shops and restaurants?
