Haha thank you. Just giving my honest opinion of the program. I actually like Randy and Jason, they're very intelligent guys and Cheap Seats had its moments. The 1997 Spelling Bee was my favorite, haha. They were in top form in that one, I must say.

Yeah, Randy and Jason are big fans of MST3K. Unfortunate for them they aren't close to being as funny as them. I like an episode of Cheap Seats here and there, but when it boils down to it, these guys were very poor compared to the riffing abilities of MST3K, which by the way, is one of the funniest TV programs ever made. I was surprised when Cheap Seats was cancelled. Many skits fall flat and their riffing can be simply obnoxious and annoying instead of humorous.

MST3K stands for Mystery Science Theater 3000. It's a cult classic TV show that aired from 1988 to 1999. The premise was this: A man and two robots are forcibly sent into space and forced to watch the worst movies ever made as part of an experiment conducted by a mad scientist. The main essence of the show was the riffing of the bad movies by the human (Joel and later Mike) and his two robot companions, Tom Servo and Crow. Randy and Jason are fans of the show and Cheap Seats drew upon MST3K.

There are side projects that exist from the creators of MST 3000. One of them is Cinematic Titanic which includes the original cast of Mystery Science Theater. Also check out the Film Crew which includes Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, and Kevin Murphy. Oh and Rifftrax is another good one to look into.

i lost my faith in humanity when mst3k was canceled. One of the few shows that I think could be brought back and still be just as good.
