the hood scoop is not functional on any of the Cobra II's or King Cobras. I GAURANTEE you it is a real COBRA II. PS This car is an all original vehicle down to the six cylinder engine. (except we painted the stripes on instead of vynal as the factory did.)
You can see the end caps for the rear spoiler are on the car, and the quarter Louvers are in the hatch. I would assume that the they spoiler and hood scoop were painted separately and not yet installed in the video, especially seeing as how the owner has had the car since 1978
the hood scoopes on the original cars were not functional, just an appearance item, up to 78 facing forward, and opening to the rear in 78. The CB or CBR would be on the buck tag, not the VIN, the only II that had it own code for the VIN were the Mach 1's and that was in spaces 3,4 would be an 05, regular CBII got the 03 in those slot (code for the 2+2 hatchback body.
TRUELY BEAUTIFULL,ITS SO VERY NICE CLASSIC..CONGRATULATIONS..

Who can say ANYTHING bad about ANY car with a 302 or 351 V-8 under the hood??

skywarp187 doesn't know shit about real cars, he probably drives some foreign piece of crap!
I drive a 78 Mustang 2 V8 I'm loving it too!
I know a lot of people don't like the Mustang 2's but I believe that someday they will roam again haha,

This one rides up north to all the car shows. It has brought home one from every one it has attended.

My hood scoop is fuctional. Crammed a 351W in mine last winter. Went from a 289 to a 302 and now a 351. GOBS of power now. Nasty car now.

very nicely done II. Is it a real Cobra or a clone? Either way the paint is amazing, and I hope to get my 78 Mach 1 looking that nice someday soon.

It is a real one. My Nanna bought it in 1978 and it is a 76. she loves her baby.

separately painted ? the hood scoop was functional hood scoop, so that thing is not real .
and the VIN Number , is it a CB or CBR ???
