my little brother first exposed me to this great , underrated band.why do you have to be mindless or 'sexy' to sell today. wasn't music supposed to be about making you feel the emotions of rage ,lust , or sex on its own.this man dulli can make you feel thatwith his voice alone. hell the great kurt cobian probably wouldn't even sell today because he doesn't fit the crappy mainstream fodder of today music. R.I.P true music, for art truly is dead.
Who is the drummer on this one? I used to see the Whigs and the drummer was Steve Earl. Every video on youtube of these guys seems to show a differant drummer.
John Curly is one hell of a bass player; solid, driving, on tempo, and reminiscent of Entwhistle from the Who. Does anyone know if he is still playing, and if so, for whom, with whom? I saw the last Whigs show at Bogart's in Cinci, Fall of 99, and although the Twilight singers have their moments, without that bass it is just not the same.
The music industry effed up by not giving this band their just due. They were fantastic.
