Its standard tuning in concert pitch............though with these particular chords you will need to capo the 7th fret in order to maintain the original key.........thanks

Fucking great. there are 1 or 2 small errors. The score has about 8 guitars in it, and you sound like you are playing 2 of them. I wish I could figure out what acoustic guitar 2 does on the Score because it adds to the dissonance.
What's the difference ? between 12 strings or 6 strings guitar they are the same that means you do not need to buy guitar with12 strings that would be costly !
@realjuvelive 6 and 12 string guitars are almost like 2 different instruments. The extra 6 strings on a 12 string are either tuned in unison (high E and B) or octaves on the other 4 strings. This gives the 12 string its unique sustained ringing tones. If u need more info...go to your local guitar store and listen.
@realjuvelive with exception of the B & E strings, the other pairs are tuned one octave apart. This arrangement was made for the 12-string. If you tried to play it on a 6-string, it just wouldn't sound very good. You need the octaves.
There are guides all over youtube but basically you tune 6 of the strings as you would a standard 6 string guitar. The remaining E,A D & G strings are tuned to exactly 1 whole octave above their respective partners with the top B & E strings tuned to the same octave. Sounds complicated but it's no more difficult than tuning a 6 string guitar....twice.
Takamine EG345C..........they dont ALL sound like this one though..........I played hundreds before I found her, the vast majority of guitars are massed produced, only now and again one will just "go together" better than the others. This is one such guitar.........they are out there.........but you'll either need to look very hard or walk into the shop with £3000 in your pocket!......It's fairly easy then!

The video is there to help all those who need it. If I can make it clearer in any way then I'll endeavour to do so. With regards to TABS.......... I can neither read nor write music (including Tab).......and it's really easy to infringe copyright with them. I'm sure if you study both the vids carefully then you'll eventually be able to work it out .
No, you have to play it differently on a 6 string as some of the notes are missing due to the lack of strings!..........It was written for and played on a 12 string.........anything else usually sounds a bit hollow in my opinion.
Standard tuning, yes........440, No!.....I detune my 12 string by 1 whole tone then capo the 2nd to soften the action......as this is capo'd much higher anyway I just tend to capo where the pitch of my voice is on that particular day. The capo and combination of chords makes it easier to perform.........especially with a 12!
Ok every tab I find on the net and every vid on youtube I find has a different way of playing it, I don't know why it's so difficult to find an accurate tab...This sounds closer to the real thing that I have found, but a tab of it would still be helpful if you have it and are kind enough to post a link here or in a PM that would be great.
Sorry friend......I cant write tab or read/write music.......plus the fact that the posting of other peoples music infringes all kinds of copyright laws. The owners have already blocked one of my versions........I'd hate the same to happen to this one!......It seems to help a lot of people. These vids are really all the help I can give you.
@foxjudo I understand. The vid is very helpful but it does take me some time to match picking and finger placement vids together and slowing down etc to make sure it is right, tabs always made things go faster and everyone out there has a different version it's annoying.

Anyway... This wasn't a very good instructional video because the hardest part is the strumming pattern, which wasn't shown. But I think it was very unthoughtful to call these guys "idiots". Personally, I think you are the biggest idiot here.

@realjuvelive with exception of the B & E strings, the other pairs are tuned one octave apart. This arrangement was made for the 12-string. If you tried to play it on a 6-string, it just wouldn't sound very good. You need the octaves.

There are guides all over youtube but basically you tune 6 of the strings as you would a standard 6 string guitar. The remaining E,A D & G strings are tuned to exactly 1 whole octave above their respective partners with the top B & E strings tuned to the same octave. Sounds complicated but it's no more difficult than tuning a 6 string guitar....twice.

Takamine EG345C..........they dont ALL sound like this one though..........I played hundreds before I found her, the vast majority of guitars are massed produced, only now and again one will just "go together" better than the others. This is one such guitar.........they are out there.........but you'll either need to look very hard or walk into the shop with £3000 in your pocket!......It's fairly easy then!
Takamine's are a good place to start.

Hey, no problem........there is no such thing as a stupid comment (except perhaps the ones about the condition of my fingernails!)
The video is there to help all those who need it. If I can make it clearer in any way then I'll endeavour to do so. With regards to TABS.......... I can neither read nor write music (including Tab).......and it's really easy to infringe copyright with them. I'm sure if you study both the vids carefully then you'll eventually be able to work it out .

No, you have to play it differently on a 6 string as some of the notes are missing due to the lack of strings!..........It was written for and played on a 12 string.........anything else usually sounds a bit hollow in my opinion.

Standard tuning, yes........440, No!.....I detune my 12 string by 1 whole tone then capo the 2nd to soften the action......as this is capo'd much higher anyway I just tend to capo where the pitch of my voice is on that particular day. The capo and combination of chords makes it easier to perform.........especially with a 12!

Ok every tab I find on the net and every vid on youtube I find has a different way of playing it, I don't know why it's so difficult to find an accurate tab...This sounds closer to the real thing that I have found, but a tab of it would still be helpful if you have it and are kind enough to post a link here or in a PM that would be great.

Sorry friend......I cant write tab or read/write music.......plus the fact that the posting of other peoples music infringes all kinds of copyright laws. The owners have already blocked one of my versions........I'd hate the same to happen to this one!......It seems to help a lot of people. These vids are really all the help I can give you.

@foxjudo I understand. The vid is very helpful but it does take me some time to match picking and finger placement vids together and slowing down etc to make sure it is right, tabs always made things go faster and everyone out there has a different version it's annoying.

(unlike these other idiots) I would like to take this oportunity to tell you that this was a very helpful video and you are the man. instead of me having to figure it out on my own i learned this in less than 5 minutes. cant beat that with a stick.

Come on pal, I have to agree this wasn't the greatest guitar lesson video. But you can't call the other guys idiots... They just aren't experienced enough to be able to learn from this type of lesson.
Anyway... This wasn't a very good instructional video because the hardest part is the strumming pattern, which wasn't shown. But I think it was very unthoughtful to call these guys "idiots". Personally, I think you are the biggest idiot here.
