yeah empire: total war was great disappointment for me. not only country management sucked, but also battles was boring as fuck. Empire was nothing about fun. I couldn't believe that after awesome rome and medieval 2, they did such crap as empire

@zooloo129 Yea, they just made empire waaay too complex with managing economy and naval battles. Game is only fun if its simple, intuative, and somewhat easy to grasp. Empire is none of this

@spam1138 Well maybe they fixed most of em.. But there's just something above the melee fighting that gunpowder shooting never will catch. Also there's not much strategy in ETW.. just put em in a line.. that's it.. And the battles could take a millennium.. Not I'll keep to M2TW. You should buy it.. it's cheap and then download Stainless steel mod to make it Superb!! :D

@Issus38 No, it sucks and that's why they made Napoleon, which is BY FAR a better game. Graphical and historical corrections were made, better animations, more realistic gameplay and foreplay(campaign). Ask an experienced gamer who's played both which one is better and i guarantee you, they'll say Napoleon.

if u wanna unlock a faction go 2 descr_strat.txt file in The File Sega/Medieval 2 total war/data/world/maps/campaign/i­mperial_campaign and move the Faction that u wanna play as from Unlockable 2 playable (The Papal States may be on nonplayable, but you can make it playable also)
