the famous silcocks waltzer, we used to to work for jim and jamie whitting on his ark, at goose fair, opposite " the castle" as it used to be called, in the mid to late 70"s, half of jamiaca used to stand on the gratins of a fri and sat night, i bet the lads didnt tap as many punters as we did.....
@ches15461 Your'e spot on their Ches I was their in 74 work ing for young Ted .It used to get chocker,due to Stella's funk and soul music .I drew on with John Walters Moonrocket but when I met up with the Silcocks lads in the Lusher I defected back to Silcocks.we had this young lad with us Graham who could nevr get his poke in,this one time a car hit him and he flew straight down the front steps.The Jamaican lads carried him over their heads back on the gig ,it was hilarious!
