  • I'm crying! This song is so beautiful!

  • Which concert was this?

  • how can he say he isn't deep? ^^

  • I love this song its amazing and i love when he sings about his daughter but i get annoyed when religious people get offended by it. this song is about family and is supposed to be taken that way. enjoy it for what it is...

  • This is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

  • the audience are shocked, I dont think they expected tim to bring them to tears

  • Saw him in Glasgow and I thought he wouldn't play this cause his encore came and went then he came back with this as a second encore!! HELL YES! i cried :)

  • still crying hearing this again.

  • This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard.. The first time I heard it was when I saw Tim live at the O2, and I actually cried. I downloaded it to my iPod from iTunes straight away when I got home... :)

  • It always makes me laugh and cry. I love this song so much.

  • Great stuff!!! New fan.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this is gorgeous. I wish he'd just released it as a proper song, without trying to make it half funny. It's perfectly lovely.

  • @Warwickcain

totatly agree with you, you could say that about a lot of his songs

really wish he'd release these - i want to hear them more often!

  • @Warwickcain Yes, but it's what it is, ALL of what it is. It's that combination that makes it his, and one of a perfect kind.

  • this is my all-time favorite performance of White Wine, never fails to bring a tear at the end, just beautiful

  • @error19 This is my favourite rendition of this song available on YouTube. My favourite ever performance of it was at Uncaged Monkeys; he sang and played guitar and Prof. Brian Cox was on the piano. It's moving as it is, but I was full on weeping when I heard it live. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and I felt like I was swathed in it. Actually the most wonderful few minutes of my life being there. Tim Minchin never fails to remind us how beautiful the little things can be

  • @goddessau2004 I called it "The Christmas Number One 2010 should be Tim Minchin - White Wine In The Sun." I'm not doing much with it just yet, but closer to to the end of the year I'll be trying to get it some attention =P

  • @greendaygaz 9 thumbs up and it didnt get Christmas 2010 Number 1. Shock. Thumbs up for Christmas 2012?

  • Greatest song I've heard in ages.

  • So good. Just so bloody good. I don't understand the "eyes" but who gives a ... the lyrics would make A.D Hope proud .

  • ... i could be shanye warne's wife or gary glitters family... :)
