Please explain to my "limited" mind how the European system is worse than the American? You Americans need to get your asses off the couches and come to Europe and see it for yourselves. We have free education, free health care and a bunch of other free social services. Sure we pay taxes but i don't have to worry about not affording to go visit a doctor or worry about putting my kids through school. And the standard of living and civilization in W. Europe is above the one in the US.

Every European country has an army. Most have state of the art armies. Run out?. Taxes are used to keep up welfare systems. So Europe adapts its welfare to the current situation. Has always been doing so. Take Holland: the 70ties were a good time + more taxation + an increase in welfare, the 80ties were bad + less taxation + a decrease of welfare; the 90ties were good + an increase of welfare, etc. Europe doesn't "run out ouf money". Its always adapted its welfare to "the money available".

dude. honestly i lived in germany and came to the U.S recently and i have to tell you that there is a huge transatlantic gap of development when it comes too infrastructure and environment. Seriously the U.S look pretty crappy trashy and dirty in comparison to euroland. dont get me wrong here, i love the U.S. I love its limitless plains and its amazing nature where it remains untouched and i love the freedom in general. nevertheless what i said before is just true.
