Good video. Personal preference - I'd add a whistle and a compass. Also I'd keep everything in the box. My thinking is that things spread out are more likely lost. Thanks for sharing.
To aid in damp / wet condition I soak my tampon in hair oil (Rose Oil). Even after a good soaking the Tampons size remains the same for storage. I only need a small amount to start a fire in poor conditions & I get more fires from my fire kit. Hope this helps...
Be careful. The steel can work lose form the red plastic handle and be lost. As mine was.
If you can. Use some pliers and pull it out if you can, then reseat it using some fresh epoxy. Or you can make a totally new handle for it outta wood or deer antler.
Nice kit! I'd have used KMnO4, Acetone, Cotton Balls, and either Sulfuric Acid, glycerin, or brake fluid.

Tampons are very useful. Put one in a puncture wound and it expands blocking blood loss temporarily.

Nice video, looks like a nice compact kit that is complete. I also agree your videos are short and sweet. Thanks.
