Great television. I remember watching with my brother as a kid. Shame they were taken from the air. Imagine, an all black cast of great actors and not one "motherfu&^*&er" or "nig^&*(&gah" uttered...thank you Amos and Andy, Kingfish, Lightning, A.J. Calhoun, Saphire, Mama and all the Mystic Knights of the Sea!
One of the best comedies television ever had. Expert actors, expert timing, great sets, hilarious story-writing. People should be ashamed of depriving us of these shows in their prime. I'm Black, grew up watching these shows, we all graduate high school, many went to college and led productive lives. The dialect didn't affect us like NAACP seemed to think. We could separate comedy from real life. They lost on that one. Thanks for bringing these shows back to us!
This one ranks up there with the fake house Kingfish sold Andy. Boy that man could dream up some wild schemes couldn't he? Gotta love it. This show is such a riot! Thanks so much for sharing these episodes.
