i worked for my ps3 an i took my controller apart, i was interested in what they changed since the ps2 version wit the whol rechargeable battery pack an all. an i want to take the ps3 apart too just to c how its put together, but im a lil afraid to do that.
I did it when my 60 GB got the YLOD,it's nothing too crazy.Bluetooth board,blu-ray drive,power supply,the motherboard is pretty big.The heat sinks and the fan are much better then the ones on the 360.
Nah, I prefer it when it's not taken apart.

if you do be VERY careful with the warranty sticker. if it appears tampered with and you mess something up your screwed. can't even get payed repairs
