Just keep in mind that I had been playing for 9 years when I made this video. Talent doesn't come over night- you have to consistenly practise. I just told someone else here this, don't be satisfied with just band music from school. Play on your own or with a private instructor- that's how I got the vast majority of my talent.

@kensy1999 Just keep playing, you'll get much better. Also, don't be satisfied with just band music from school (assuming that's where you do most of your playing). The majority of my talent is from finding music on my own to challenge myself. Once I started doing that, band music started getting *really* boring, haha. Now I tailor-make my music for myself, writing for my strengths and building up my weak spots.

@beaglemanzzz The main thing is that the f-attachment breaks two weeks after I get it repaired *every* time (did this about 12 times before I just gave up and just left it broken). It's response is a little outta whack when I try to play softly... but that might just be me. The main thing is the f-attachment.

Oh, mine doesn't have an F attachment so I can't comment on that. I'm primarily a tuba player so trombone is a secondary instrument for me. I picked up a slightly used YSL-354 for 300 bucks off of craigslist a year ago and so far it's done well for me, much better than the new eastman trombones the school just bought.

@beaglemanzzz Yeah, that's a pretty basic model, so I guess there isn't much that can go wrong with it. I've never played a medium bore trombone, though. That was a good buy, since it isn't your primary instrument. I definitely wouldn't buy a Yamaha for a "professional grade" trombone though- would stick with King/Conn/Bach. If I was loaded, I would get a Shires.... *drool...

@pianomusic1760 I used my laptop's built-in camera and microphone array... It's actually horrendous quality, but I spent a LONG time editing this in Audacity to make it sound decent.

I'm getting a Blue Yeti microphone at some point, which is supposed to be a really good one for cheap... once I ever get it I'll make another video and post in the discription a review for the mic.

Real nice playing bro, just one advice play it less legato. Many parts are written a bit in a portato way. Try to put the accents on the notes it makes your song more engergetic and in that way mutch clearer en able to put it under eachother.

@ShoeBob98 You need to have a video editing program that can do Picture In Picture (PiP) editing. I don't know of any that are free, and I still haven't found one that I'd be willing to buy.

Premiere Pro is pretty user-friendly, yes. But it's extremely expensive... that's why I only used a trial version. If I ever find a comparable, cheap alternative, I'll let you know.

@ShoeBob98 Oh, ok. It's been a while since I've used the program, so I think this is what I remember doing.

Once you've imported the different video files, drag them onto the Video 1, Video 2, etc, slots on the bottom of the screen, and then just drag them left or right within each slot until they match up- same with audio files underneath (if you did them separately)
