The PC version seems to have a few minor detail differences from the Xbox version like the Spirit's gravity shield or whatever moves to a single direction instead of sparkling like electricity.
Cortana and Halsey have mentioned Master Chief's incredible luck, and there's hardly any doubt that the Master Chief was crucial to the ending of the Human/covenant war..
But the Rookie was uniquely badass. he didn't need a sheild or equipment to bring down hoards of enemies at once or on his own.
Noble 6 and the Rookie are what you make of them. Maybe they're just pieces of the puzzle, maybe they're true heroes and badasses who simply didn't have the same luck Chief did..
@TosXMellow I still like the Cheif better. I would love to see an alternate universe where the Cheif and 6 both are on the Autumn and become partners. Still. I personally prefer the Cheif.

Halo wars is not halo 4. Halo 4 would be after the events of halo 3. Halo Wars was 20 years before Halo:Combat Evovled. No one knows for sure if theirs is going to be a Halo 4 since Masterchief and Cortana are floating around in space, waiting for their distress signal. Though Bunjie has Confirmed that they are going to make a Video game called Halo ODST, Which is in between Halo 2 and halo 3 but your not going to play as chief since hes in Delta halo.

The ship would have crashed into the planet which apparently is metal and would have exploded because of the speed it hit the ground. It would explode and kill Master Chief.

At the endo of the halo 3 credits on Legendary, it shows the Cheif and Cortana coming to a planet that looks like Reach, and all of a sudden Bungie announce a game called... Halo Reach

Yeah, your right, Reach happens in the book order, before Halo one. But the video game, Halo:Reach is after it is destroyed, which, according to the book timeline, is after Halo:One.

@Treldman The planet was near the halo, the halo exploding would end any species near it, that's why cortana thought they weren't going to make it. The ship would have crashed into the planet which apparently is metal and would have exploded because of the speed it hit the ground. It would explode and kill Master Chief.

@hdaersrtyor If it has life it must have an atmosphere, the ship would burn on the way down and the crash down would crush the ship and kill him, most likely blow up, if it was a splashdown, he would have a chance.

Well,at the legendary ending of Halo 3, yousee him in the back half of the "Forward Unto Dawn" still very alive and he puts himself into cryo-slleep, and then you see the Forward unto dawn drfting towards an unidentified forerunner planet. So, MC is still alive, and there (might) be a Halo 4 (Yay)

If you complete Halo 3 on Legendary.....after the credits the whole bit with MC going in2 cryo sleep.....then it zooms out and shows the ship heading for another planet.

God dammit Halo 1 was so much better than the two sequels. Halo 3 should have been the last in the series, but there's no way Bungie won't make a 4th. I wonder if Bungie has the ability to make another good original game.

So, just because this game is only for 360 I'm automatically declared fanboy? But, If this game was multiplatform, my comment would have been brushed off. I do own all 3 current gen consoles, as well as all 3 last gen consoles. I'm not a fan of MGS and i don't even own a mairo party game.
