You could have saved a lot of triangles if you just made a series of box primatives and stuck them inside eachother. You did more work than what was needed

Nice sketchUp demonstration, but topology doesn't seem to ba an issue to take care of for you. I think people watching this could one day come to more advanced programs and models, where toptolgy is the basis of everything and people should learn the basics from the start. I made that mistake and now I pay for it heavily. Just an idea that crossed my mind watching te modelling...

Check the crator section on making 3d products. Look closely its mixed in with all the 3DSMAX crap.

When I export it to the Sketch_up folder, in the c:\ directory* but when I convert it, I only get an kml file,not any xrf or anything I can use in the previewer..I have a gorgeous model I just need to get it into imvu..arr this is getting frustrating..If any one can help please message me on my hp TheGreatGoddess...

This may be a silly question, but it's been frustrating me to death - when you're making something like legs on a table or chair, then how do you make them all the same length?

"Pull" the first leg, then double click the remaining legs and they will snap to the same length.
