appleseed 2k4 is imo one of the finest anime ever. its got some scenes which are awesome as hell so everybody whos gonna watch this movie: prepare for massive goosebumps!

Honestly, I think this was the most over rated movie I've ever seen. Every single character was stiff and boring, the plot was needlessly hard to follow, the morals were derivative of pre-existing animes, the cell shaded graphics looked good on robots/buildings but horrible on humans, and to top it all off it was sooooo pretentious. Did it honestly need to start on a bible verse that had no relevance whatsoever?
I was expecting Metropolis quality. I got Space Thunder Kids with a budget.
