i recently decided to play my psp, after a long time and it's hacked with 3.71 m33 update. If i were to update the firmware do i need to rehack my psp again? if you know what i mean...as most games on the internet requires at least 5.00 m33 cfw

@affectedskyline im going to update mine to 5.50 GEN D3 and i want to know if its gonna delete every homebrew app and game etc on my psp, and for your problem, you just downlooad the installer and load it up onto your psp and run it, it should update for you, no rehacking needed unless you update to *LEGIT* psp software

@CaragdagFrancis enter in the VSH menu put usb device to flash0 then connect your psp to your pc then enter in \vsh\etc you will see a file version.txt open it and u will see release:9.00 or release:9.99 and simply change it to release:5.50

DO NOT UPDATE TO 6.37 OR 6.38 no iso no custom themes!!!!DON'T DO IT(unless u dont care about homebrew or interesting features or Iso games)if u did update to these get a program called iso2eboot for your pc if u still want 2 play isos
