There will NEVER be a D'Angelo replacement! Just as there will NEVER be another Prince or Michael Jackson, Sam Cook, Marvin Gaye or Luther V! However, this bruh is definitely music to my ears (especially V Bosman) and his music is food to my soul! This is what we've been missing for years! Make no mistake, D can come back ANY time he chooses to and music like this shows Prince or D NEVER really left at all b/c we emulate and are motivated by them!

@iHymn75 yes yes, i loved D'angelo as well (what my parents let me listen to of his anyway), just like every 6 yr old girl i knew i tried to look further down the t.v. whenever his "untitled" video came on. and he can come back anytime he wants but in example of Whitney and Ms.hill, it's hard for a soul singer to return to the scene after "sniffing it up" so to speak. but atleast he lost some of that crack weight and no longer resembles ODB as strongly.
