if anyone needs a hand killing the garrador, heres a tip, first smash the vases near the prison door. you should find a incindenary grenade. pick it up. now make sure you have more than one incindenary grenade. then when you go to the garrador and nade him a bunch. if you have enough, then you should be able to kill him, and if not just take out your shotgun (wich yo ustill should have from the begging of the game) and shoot him in the back when hes not on fire so much.i used up all characters!!
You can do this trick with a shotgun and Ashley being outside the door as well. He will still say "Wait" and "Follow me" just the same, in case you don't want Ashley in trouble. You can do that trick as well. Works pretty good I must say...

People keep misunderstanding this so called 'Trick'. We all know the Garrador's weak point is the Plaga on his back - The whole point of the trick is to show how easy it is to get Garrador to present his back not by hitting the bells, not by running, not by making any other noise except for his voice (Wait/Follow). No matter what way you prefer to kill Garrador, it won't matter what weapon you use.
Not really the same - But yes, the Plaga control the 'host' and place that host under the control of the leader, which happens to be Saddler, who has control over the Plaga.
A Virus wouldn't do anything like that, though it would spread much quicker than a parasitic organism.

the key to killing these creatures easy is not to run just walk as slow as you can if you do this the creature will not hear you then all you have to do is to go to the back of the creature and shoot him but you guys possibly know this already but a tip i found in the game tell ashly to wait at the entrance before you enter so when you go in and the door closes ashley will be safe from danger then you wont have to worrie about her being killed during the battle

Just because it's true to the story and game that she doesn't use weapons of any kind doesn't mean it has to be that way in the game.
Have fun with the multiple Ashley maingame mods and outfits while kicking the crap into them or getting her to perform Weskers punch or whatever you like.
Just a tiny bit more too it - Sometimes, due to timing or how far away he is, he may just run the little distance to you and start hacking away at the air, usually catching you - You can see it in this movie.
Best done by waiting until he's in clear view, but at a decent distance, then do Wait/Follow to get him to charge the claws, if he doesn't charge the claws, walk out of the way and try again. If you run, he'll follow you and catch you out, which can hurt... A lot.

I don't deal in easy... The game is far too easy as it is. It's also about the Wait/Follow trick, as opposed to 'How to make this bit easier'.
On top of that, in this version, if you leave her outside then call her, she'll still glich through the door.
