Smashbox High Definition Healthy Fx Foundation Review

First of all, if you did not use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, of course, your face is going to be slick with this foundation; t is designed to work in conjunction with the HD Foundation. Second of all, you just can't use any powder over the top to set this; you have to use the Smashbox powder to receive the full effect of long-lasting coverage that doesn't fade off. Third of all, you get what you pay for; quality reigns over price. The price is very reasonable for a high-quality.

I paid full price. It looks good after i put it on, but later on, it gets a bit oily, and if I take pictures, I can see it makes me look darker, orangy/brown...and I'm considered light/fair. I like the scent, smells like some sort of dessert. I will not buy it again though.

i bought this for only $20 from a lady that sells smashbox @ my work and this is the first time i found a foundation that matches me exactly so i know exactly what you mean. I also use a stipling brush and I sealed it with MAC's mineralized skin finish and it looks amazing...i havent used it enough to tell if i'll get an oily T-zone like you got but im hoping i wont have that problem. other than that i LOVE this foundation.

Your reviews are very good, honest and helpful. Its a little hard to see your skin when you showcase it. I think its because your lighting is too harsh. Try diffusing it with a white sheet. You wont look like your glowing so much :)

I used to use Avon foundation in Highschool too. I need to get a stippling brush. I just started using one of those foundation brushes 2 months ago. Have you tried any HD powders? My sister raves about it but I haven't tried it.

I loved the Avon foundations in high school, but the colors don't match me anymore because I got darker. I haven't tried any HD powders but ELF sells them! Maybe we should go get it from ELF! :)

I didn't know Elf sells it, Im going to check target out to see if they carry it. I use Bare natural Mineral powder now. I hardly wear foundation & when I do I seem to get oily and nasty looking with any foundation. I wear it mainly in the winter. That Bare Natural makes my skin flawless though, I LOVE IT lol.
