Well....I'll be honest and say I thought it was gonna be a crappy interpretation....and well u straight up fucked my ears to an intense eargasm with ur virtuosic playing. In other words: u proved me wrong lmao
Magnificent interpretation just the arpeggio bit at 1:51 -1:58 lets say could have been a smidge more whats the word articulate(?) on each note or little less obvious legato one or two notes seemed smudged together but other then that well done! I reckon because its almost 2 years old by now you've already improved your technique significantly to :)
Nice loose arpeggio technique man...and I loved the added/improvised touches esp. @ 1:30 in the bass and youre onto something with your trills/high note groups in the closing cap. except for 2:18-2:23ish sounds funky...i'd try different chords
@geertdehoux I think this guy is as much talented as you are an idiot, if you see what I mean. Fed up of youtube with those idiots always criticizing for free !!
@geertdehoux Giving some good advice is a form of critique. Nobody cares about your super intelligent advice about relaxation and wrists and blablabla. Just listen to the music and shut up !
@geertdehoux One last remark and then I'll stop fighting with you, this is a quote from You which I have found in your profile and I think is, in that case, very intelligent for sure : "It seems a 'professional pianist' can also be an idiot.". I invite you to medidate on your own thinking.
@geertdehoux It still is the pot calling the kettle black , though i was just correcting spelling for irony so really i dont see a pot calling a kettle black
Did you know our little Belgium (which will probably not exist long anymore) has more than 780 DIFFERENT Belgian beers (even more than 2200 different Belgian brand names!) ?!
From very soft fruit beers to 12% alcohol beers!!
One of them is DUVEL, made in the village where I live. It has 8,5% alchohol in it and its typical, strong taste!
I made the notation of this piece (after the EMI recording) and edited this first volume in 1992-5.
The pianists should play these pieces like an improvisation. These pieces are etudes for the improvisation (on a transcendental level).
So, you have to listen carefully the recording, then learn faithfully the score, and at the end make your own version of the work. You managed to do all this.

You certainly have talent, but I would advice you to work on higher speed and muscular relaxation as well.
Then, if the piano is too low for your legs, you better put something under the piano.
That would make it able to relax your wrists more.
Good luck!

Have you tasted Belgian chocolate like Leonidas ?
And Belgian cheese ?
Belgian cookies ?

@VanargrandsEnd
Well, don't worry, because the Duvel (which means 'Devil') likes silver kettles more than black ones! :-)
Enjoy your stay!

If, one day, you visit Bruges, you'll find enough good Belgian beer, licor and jenever shops, as Belgian chocolate, cookies, cheese shops, as well!
Let me know, and we'll go there together! :-)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Normal full piano technicque, but completelety no music.
In fact this is awful, played like computer.
No rubatos, no singing, no melody, horrible.
Only hiited keys.
I love this piece, but here are much better performances.
Try to think about your toucher, sound, melody, emotions, romantism in this music.
