I like black comedies but this one bored me. There were a few parts that I thought were really funny, but there's also a lot of scenes that seem like they are trying way too hard to make you laugh in that quirky black comedy type of way.

Wow, this was the most sureal and amazing Cohen brothers movie yet, if not the best movie I have ever seen!

Just amazing...... p.s. You'll probably want to watch every minute of the movie and watch it a second time through to truly understand the whole twisted and at times comedic story.

To all the idiots that badmouth this film: There's a part of me that wishes, with all its heart, that a wild baboon tear out your asshole, slow-roast it, and force-feed it to you before savagely beating you to death with a clump of dried shit. I watched this film today...and i have to say it's one of the worst they've ever done. Honestly this trailer is a masterpiece compared to when you actually sit down to watch the film. When I paused it half way through it said 34minutes ramining...yet it felt like fucking hours. So If you want to make your day feel that bit longer then I recommend this film...though depression comes to mind afterwards. However on another note I do applaud some of the camera work and technique used.

Storytelling, especially when it's done well, may indeed provoke negative responses in the 'feelings' category, but that doesn't necessarily factor into a review.

Cohen brothers are the most amazing and complicated film directors today. A Serious Man is amazing, so are all of their movies (except Burn After Reading). For those of you who don't get the ending - remember Larry's visit to the second ravi, when he told a story about man's teeth? After the story, Larry asked ravi what happened next, to which he replied - "who cares?". The conclusion doesn't matter, the story does, and Joel and Ethan showed it.
