@DRaG0NREdZ take a trip to Dominica, you will love it, the best part of my visits is the landing, thats all i looking forward to, i love Dominica and American eagle
@bvimadness wow ur a hipacrit and and that will never happen becuase i will hear the engine and run out of the house...UR A RETARD! OH AND DID I MENTION FAGGET!!!!!!!!!
@wizzair1313 English please!!!!! Dude or tranny stop what ever you are, stop being a jerk! Because you can't afford to travel doesn't mean you must wish bad on people that can. I dont have time for you and your trash talk, i got traveling to do.
@bvimadness i cant afford to travel??? i could buy ur life i am so rich my father own 2 cessna citation x and im sure ur the one who cant afford to fly!! DOUCHEBAG!!! FUCKQUAD!!!!!!!!!!
thank you for choosing american eagle a member of the one world alliance ;)!!!! and its an ATR72...listen to how peaceful inside the aircraft is...as opposed to LIAT!!
Gerat video man. From what I can see and know (I been there twice I live in Antigua) the east to west approach which is more better than west to east which is diffcult and dangerous.
Landing East to West would me MUCH easier. However, in the event of a go-around on a single-engine, the ATR would not theoretically be able to outclimb the terrain west of the runway. That's why Am. Eagle ATR's always fly the approach from west to east.
too bad you cant see the view from the cockpit in this video. I used to fly for american eagle out of san juan, and have flown this approach many times. It was some of the most fun flying I've had in my career.
Thats a super kool video!!! The approach was very challenging, numerous turns were made on short final at very low altitudes. I think the traffic pattern altitude at Dominica is around 2000ft. Very nice landing, the pilot obviously had good airspeed control apon flaring for touch down, thats one the reasons he landed sooo smooth. That was a great flight for the crew of American Eagle flight#5062. Great Job guys!!! Well done!!!
i love how people from the carribean clap after landing hahaha. awesome fuckin video. love the shadow of the plane u can see around like 30-40 seconds. one of my best flights was from bradley to san juan just breaking cloud cover you could see a perfect silhouette of the 757 on the clouds. fucking cool. oh ya and american eagle pilots got it made, they might not get paid as much as AA captains but get to fly to real cool destinations all over the carribean.
tell the flight attendent to shut up pls....she is putting me to sleep wth her boring voice tone...the speech is good, but the tone of her voice gotta change
i didnt know jets landed at DOM (Melville Hall) until one day when i witnessed one fly over Hodges Bay to set up for the approach. But they must have overshot the runway because it came around a few minutes later and did the same approach. That was late April 2004. Thanks for the posting
This is a great video because, enventhough it was brief you filmed the interior of the aircraft and that's nice because most people do not know what inside these ATR look like
As an ATR driver out of SJU, this possibly is the most fun I've had flying

FYI AA5062 originated out of San Juan PR about 300 miles northwest and about an hour and a half flight time.

That landing was really smooth, I was waiting for the plane to slam into the runway like they usually do, but it didn't.
