@louiseiiid It honestly took me a while to figure your comment out, as I posted a long time ago :). I dont know. What if it is your family that made you ill. I don't know, as I havent been there and that isnt the what I saw this movie portraying. I don't understand when people don't take all the help they can get ( therapy, medication, support), but I am not you. I wish you the best, and I hope your mother is as far away from you as possible. She definitely sounds toxic.

Little wonder why this is an award winning film!! It is brilliant, touching among some of the worst ways we can "love" people with bipolar, as Suneels family loved him, true love but awkward at best, toxic at worst.

@zsanya What if your family is what made you ill? I have DID and my mother still delights in tormenting me. I would kill myself, but I have promised my children I will never do that. I passed some of the craziness onto the eldest because I didn't understand myself at the time. My youngest was raised with help of Social workers after my husband was murdered, because I had the mother of all nervous breakdowns..

All the sympathy in the world can't help me and I WONT take the pills any more.
